Hello everyone....especially those who do business with Shawn at LiteCig USA.

I've been smoking (analogs, cigars, various pipes, + car/motorcycle tires, transistors & transformers LOL) for waaay too long. Time to try a new method of easing myself away from tobacco. I managed to leave the wacky tobakky behind many years ago (as well as the major alcohol consumption) but I just can't seem to part with my nasty 1 to 2 pack-a-day taste for the analogs!!!!!

I've been researching much of the art, technologies, devices and methodologies of vaping for merely a few days now; but I have learned a great deal just from reading & watching various reviews on youtube, etc.

I'm a BIG TIME electromechanical fabricator at heart. No bragging implied, but I have a real genuine talent in these arenas. I've done considerable R&D work as well as several "lab test engineer" contracts.....WITHOUT an engineering degree. Nothing I love more than to ANALYZE, modify, improve and learn at rapid rates when something motivates my madly unbalanced brainwaves LOL.

I have to make a fairly good first choice, because finances are definitely a concern, but so is my overall health at this stage in the game (I'll be 40 in september). I HAD a very strong notion to purchase a new DSE601 epipe from LiteCigUSA...HOWEVER, I have come to the conclusion that I will KILL the atty within 1 month. I would be repeating an unpleasant cycle of getting a warranty replacement for every other pipe, then alternately purchasing a new pipe every two months. It's time to send a MESSAGE TO THE DESIGNERS OF THE EPIPES AT THIS POINT IN TIME! ANY epipe with an atty that has a lifespan of (apparently) only one month......needs to have a REMOVEABLE/REPLACEABLE ATTY!!

With that said, I am now considering the VX2-M kit, M401 kit and the M801 kit. The replacement attys on ALL these units are dirt cheap...so WHY go with the DSE106? The M401 is unfortunately OUT OF STOCK at LiteCigUSA, so that leaves me with just two choices at present; the VX2-M OR the M801 kit. The VX2-M would appear to be a bit more refined; with the passthrough capability, larger current capacity manual batteries and a newly designed approach to the "micro carburetion" of the atty. It would appear to be the successor to the tried and true DSE901, which is rapidly losing gound in the realm of progressive airflow design. HOWEVER, I've been reading about cases of battery/charger issues on the VX2 units. As much as I like the design, I may opt for the M-801 dual atty kit. I would be MORE THAN HAPPY to field test, analyze and find a genuine FIX for the battery charging problems with the VX2 series, but not at my own expense at this time. I just need to get away from the analogs like NOW! I'll probably end up buying the M-801 DUAL ATTY kit within the next few days, unless of course someone convinces me otherwise. If Shawn throws in the free carry case, I'm SOLD and will buy one or the other very soon.

:)

Happy vaping from the newbie and feel free to drop me a line or two!!!

Doc, I've ordered from Shawn at Litecig a couple times now, about to order again next pay day. I have to say I am very pleased with the turn out. I've got a VX2-M and love it, I don't even mind the Auto Batteries either, compared to the Blu cig and my friends Totally Wicked Titan (510) the VX2 seems to have (atleaste mine does) a better throat hit and seems to draw more stable and consistent.

On the battery issue, I have yet to have one. Thats with 2 Auto and 1 manual that I've been using and passing around to friends like a freshman at prom for the past 2 weeks. All batteries and Atty's are going strong like the first day I got them. I will say that I'm glad I got the PCC with them, it has been an absolute savior for me... there's nothing worse than running out of a nic source before your night is over, which does not happen too often, but when you've been running around for almost 24 hours straight, and puffing away like a freight train, then you'll run a battery to its end.

That's what I would certainly consider VERY GOOD! 2 batteries would definitely MORE than cover me on any ordinary day. On a long weekend riding excursion, I would bring 3 or 4 batteries with me. 2 in the flat PV carry case and 2 in the side pocket of a saddle bag...or right in the tank bag 4 that matter. Those batteries are SMALL! Which PV & batts are you getting 7-8 hours from???
