I don't care for lung hits so maybe I should just stay where I'm at? Still pretty new to this.

You could, nothing wrong in that.

I bought a 30w iStick to 'run' factory 0.5ohm coils and 0.6ohm (approx) RDAs. It was the best decision I made. I like it so much, I bought 2 'proper independent battery' 30w mods.

The 40w TC version didn't make me happy, the battery life in regular mode is poor and in temp control is not flexible enough. The eVic mini has fixed this though. You can set up some tanks for either direct or MTL (with the right tank) and set the TC and Watts very nicely.

Early days, but I don't feel like a monster vaping 10-15 watts more than yesterday (and less nicotine).

Decided to just stick with what I have and ordered a better tank. I think that will suffice for the way I like to vape. If I had an issue I never suspected it to be my atomizer or tank I used. Still learning everyday.
sound plan. Give the Air a workout and, if you're still nit getting what you want, come talk to us and we'll work on it some more.

Right now I have an istick 20w and can't sub ohm with it. I didn't think I would want to get into sub-ohming, but not getting tons of flavor on my juices or have to drag a bit to hard. If I got an istick 30w can I do both on that device? I just want the option for certain flavors as I much prefer to above sub-ohm on my tobaccos. Don't want anything that is sub-ohm only or above, want both worlds. :) I'm talking about the eleafs.
Not an expert here since I'm a relative newbie like you. I think the quality of flavour has more to do with the tank you are using. Your mod is fine for what you want. The drag has to do with both the air holes in your tank as well as the drip tip you use.
