8% Juicy Peach (CAP)
8% Cake Batter (CAP)
4% Brown Sugar (TFA)
1% Butter (CAP)
1% French Vanilla (CAP)


I was watching a rerun of Good Eats, and Alton Brown had a recipe for a peach upside down cake. It looked so good that I had to try to duplicate it. This is using Capella's Juicy Peach, a pretty new flavor for them, so feel free to substitute for any peach flavor you like. It does come highly recommended though. I feel it is one of the better peach flavors on the market right now, and I have most of them. Including....CAP peaches and cream, juicy peach. TFA Peach, Juicy peach. Loranne, peach. FA peach. FW peach. I guess I need to grab the Hangsen peaches to complete the collection lol.

It's good with a lot of things. Golden pineapple (cap), blueberry extra (tfa), coconut candy (TFA) etc. You just have to experiment a bit with the percentage. You might also think of lowering the cake batter percentage to 6 for lighter fruit flavors.

you like cake batter? mine taste like cardboard lol it didnt come out too well how long did you steep before trying?

Usually I taste it just a bit about an hour after mixing it, to adjust for sweetness. Then I put it to steep for about a week. I have never had any cardboard taste, even unsteeped. Be sure to shake your ingredients before mixing too.
