First, let me say I really appreciate everyone that participated - and that includes posting in the thread and keeping it growing and alive. We had some great entries, and that made it hard to pick only three.
OK - we had to make and possibly explain a pic about patriotism and including vaping in it... the more creative, the better.
I went back to the guidelines and hints I first set out with in a few different posts early on:
I boiled this down to two factors - creativity and representation of patriotism - including or integrating vaping was a given.
Even though it wasn't a technical contest, I have two honorable mentions because they were really cool looking photos - they represented - but I thought both of them to be framing worthy. And those were by:

Just an excellent photograph, great composition and layout, looks like a display case at an upper class vape shop. Nice.
And another cool looker by Susan W:
I like the layout, the RWB quilt, and the lighting flare is awesome. It's a keeper!
I would like to offer both of you a 50% discount on a single holder - custom or otherwise. Just PM me if you would like to talk about a holder.
Now, on to the goodies! Without further adieu...
Third Place of $40 Absolute Bucks goes to... Charmed412! Good job.
This reminded me of a shrine just a bit, it represented the passing of time, of military ties, the importance of family and tradition, of enduring patriotism. Nice job.
The Second Place Winner of $60 Wooden Clams is - train2! Simple and effective.

Of particular interest is the page the book is turned to... Our rights as Americans. Makes me imagine this being a desk of one of our well known fighters somewhere, or a typical picture at an attorneys office discussing vaping bans. It incorporates vaping into the photo - it would be imcomplete without it.
And the first place winner and soon to be proud owner of some $100 Wood is-
Congratulations to... Drumroll... spacekitty!
I chose this by a thin margin because of SKs deliberate depiction of her hand and PV as The Statue, and the clincher was the inscription that's on Liberty's Base - how unusual that it's words lend perfectly to our quest...
Thanks again everybody, and to everyone that made an entry - I'd like to offer you 25% off a single holder - Just go to my website to check things out, see some holders and get some ideas, then PM me, and we can start a conversation about your holder.
To my three winners - congratulations! Just PM me when you have an idea of what you would like, and we can take it from there.
Thanks again everyone - good job!

This is going to be a photography contest of sorts... not for how well you can use a camera or Photoshop, but for how well the subject matter is represented.
Think of it as a contest rewarding more the idea and thought of the photo, rather than the technical expertise with which the camera was used. The photo serves to demonstrate the idea and thought that went into it. A good idea to add some text as Silverdove has done above. Explain your photo if you think it needs it.
I'm looking for a visual and verbal description (a photo and some words if need be) of what your minds eye sees as your idea for the killer Patriotic Vaping picture.
...It's the creativity of the idea - think of the pic as a much easier way to explain what you wanted. A pic with a few words saying what you hoped to get with the attempt is easier to understand than a 100 word paragraph explaining the same thing without a visual aid.
