Didn't see a post on this; so I thought I would give a quick heads up.

The V1.3 AC9's went up ~ an hour and fifteen ago. Still available, as well as some replacment parts...

I have V1.2 and was hoping to upgrade the center pole insulator. Anyways thought I'd post it.

Guess I didn't have to waste my time F5ing it from 15 minutes early. Oh well, got my order in for the new version as well as upgrade parts for my 1.2!

Upgrade parts from 1.2 to 1.3???? or nylon to silicone insulators?

Didn't see an option to upgrade to 1.3 but let me make believe it's possible... at least for a little while.

Insulators, to get rid of that tiny leak.

Edit to add: Looking at the site that looks like about the only difference to me, did I miss something else there?

Over time that leak will corrode the mods 510 connector, Condensation leak was not needed at their price point. Other than that and the 510 threading issue (which I assume is why they sold out of "base unit parts" ) on some of the 1.2 and older AC9's it is still a great Atty, and I use mine everyday. Just fyi, the AGA-t and t+ parts bag has an insulator that fits the AC9 as a stop gap... I ordered some of the "presumably" new insulators tonight from vapinaze in hopes they actually have upgraded them.

I grabbed the 1.2mm top cap as well... Def looking forward to that.

From what I can tell the 1.2 pin hardware that was available comes with a silicone shoulder washer w/ a nut and then the washer spring assy. I passed on that because I'm already running it in my AC9.

The insulator in the 1.3 appears to be threaded, replacing both the silicone shoulder washer and nut. It's black but I'm not sure what the material is: derlin, Teflon, unicorn hoof.

I just posted the thread to milk you guys for info....

Yep, condensation leaks can be tricky, from a design point of view. No Smoker has had some problems with them as well, I'm guessing he may have solved it on his V3 but I'm not on the list sooo... Still the Orion 2.1 is one of my favorite hybrids.

I have had threading issues with various attys, including the AC9, takes all of 15 mins to sort it with an adjustable die.

I imaging the 1.3 pin/deck insulator will be available in the near future (hoping).
