Have a EGO 650 with a CE4 atomizer (on the box) From reading a few of the discussions on the forum, I understand the CE4 is considered a disposable atomizer or clearomizer. However, when I look it up I run across terms such as" CE4 with 510 drip tip"

My question is when I wish to purchase a replacement for that CE4 what are some of the part numbers that apply to that 650 and do they all have to be EGO? I think there is something like CE4 T and CE4 S

Thanks,

Your battery should be 510/ego threaded, so it will take any head with either a 510 or an ego thread. This includes the vast majority of heads out there.

In addition to the CE4,5,6 there are EVOD, GS-H2, and a whole bunch of higher-end heads (nautilus and aerotank are notable ones).

Note that with the CE4, some of these have replaceable coils, so you don't have to replace the entire head (pretty sure the CE4-S is replaceable). On the other hand, tanks like the ce4 aren't going to last that long anyway, so even with replaceable coils they're still "semi-disposables" imho.

A CE4 has to have a removable drip tip (screw-type) as that's where you fill it. A standard 510 drip tip will not fit most CE4s, so if you see a CE4 with a 510 drip tip size, it's designed to use a custom drip tip. (that's my guess). I bought an adapter to use 510 drip tips on CE4-type clearomisers.

Lots of vapers have a selection of tips in a variety of materials and styles for either a genuine vaping reason (they don't like plastic or metal or acrylic) or just to get a good "look"... or even a thin or wide tip.

The 650 bit is just your battery size/life . Your battery should have two threads on it to accept either eGo or 510 atomizers.

Hi and welcome!

You might check out the first couple of minutes of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0VeLyv_b6M

CE(insert number) are one attachment in vaping that seems to change all the time. Some have long wicks, some have short ones, some have spring-loaded pins, some are disposable and some have replaceable heads. While technically they have a 510 connection (the little pin inside the bottom) they have a "skirt" that is designed to screw onto the outside eGo threading.

One thing they all have in common is they can be a PITA. The wicks can be hard to keep wet, especially when using high ratio vg, they crack when using certain juices and despite having the designation CE-whatever, they are made by a lot of manufacturers, so QC can be iffy. What they do have going for them is they can be cheap. Can be. You might end up paying more in the end, since they aren't known for a long life.

Unless you are madly in love with them, I suggest you look into a higher quality of attachment - preferably in glass, so you don't have to worry about the juice you use.
