Now you're unscrewing the extra virgin on your spinner?
This is getting complicated.
My apologies to the op for the humorous tone his thread has taken. It isn't often we get to relate vaping issues to these types of things.
".....and would get stuck to the point that vice grips were required to remove it....."
My guess is that during the tank install/removal that a short internally to the device occurred. The olive oil was just an innocent bystander. So the Spinner just decided to go out with a bang instead of a whimper.
Just my guess
Yep I think the olive oil was just an innocent bystander.
XD Thanks for the good and timely responses guys, as well as providing me with a good laugh. I guess it's just plain ole Rest In Piece for the poor Spinner II, regardless of what happened. My friend and I are waiting for our fancy Subox Minis in the mail as I write this, so it's off to bigger and better mods I suppose.![]()
is there truly such a thing as an 'extra virgin'?True, but lower smoke point could have caused smoking leading to panic and throwing of the mod.
Just a guess though.
Was it extra virgin?

My apologies, but what is PGA?Next time, tell your friend to clean the threads using a q-tip and a little PGA. Routine maintenance for all "dirty" threads on any tank.
BoozeMy apologies, but what is PGA?
