Looking for something new and different. I always wanted a Nuck fistpack, but he is now out of the business. The Ace of Vapes vaporluxe seems to be identical to his design except the switch is different. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about the model (is it regulated or boosted etc) and how good is the actual company to deals with.

Being it uses a single 18650 it would have to be boosted. I have read several good reports in regards to them and this unit is on my buy list this coming weekend.

I didnt see where they said it was an 18650, all I read was a 3000mah battery. I hope they arent using the trustfire 3000mah 18650, those things are horrid as far a batts go. If they have an AW/Panasonic cell in there(2900mah) then they'd be on the right track for single batts

That model can only fit a 18650. They used to list the battery as a 2600 mah and just recently changed it it to a 3000. You can always open the unit up and change the battery to a IMR if you like.

I used one when my hubs was in the hospital because I wanted good batt life.I loved it.Its small and its powerful. It adjust for 4 levels,Im thinkin 4-5v.It has an indicator light to see when its running low. There are 4 screws on it so you could open it up to check it out but I believe they will do repairs if you need them. Its plastic but it looks and feels like a nice unit.I liked it alot.

I have bought from Ace of Vapes, and they were very nice to do business with. When there was merely a one day delay in my shipment, I was immediately emailed, and they sent me extra goodies for the delay. I bought the Gold Digger, because I wanted an inexpensive 5V, and so I have not tried the Vaporluxe.

Ever1ast - I seem to recall that putting one in your cart, even though it shows as none available, will initiate the order process. I think they 'build to order' and that I received notice shortly after putting one in the cart of availability. Or, it could be that signing up for 'notify when available' does it...I don't recall precisely. In any event, if you want one, don't wait for them to show as available.

The VaporLuxe here is doing fine. I've been using it for about a month and have no issues. Mine has an 808 connection.

Cool_Breeze thanks for the response. I actually emailed Angel @ Ace of Vapes and she replied quickly to fill me in on their ordering procedures and availablilty. I'm slowly narrowing down my search for a mod, but I'd have to say this one is at the top of the list.
