Ok... someone help me out here.

After doing some research (clearly not enough) I chose to purchase the Ultra since the manual says it will do 6v, no problem, with a pair of 14250 batteries. That, along with 1ml RES and a fairly compact size led me to decide on the Ultra rather than the Ultramax.

The problem arises when one actually attempts to located said 14250 batteries. They appear to be mythical; plenty of reference to them but the only sighting was a gentleman on another forum who purchased 100 of them and no longer has any.

A Google search shows that there were 22 different references to 14250 batteries, and a high voltage kit on Innovapor's website. Now all the references have been removed, with the exception of the owner's manual.

Has anyone been able to locate these batteries?

And, if not, I think I need to reconsider my purchase and go with the Ultramax.

I don't plan on vaping at 6v much (unless I really like it - I've never done it before) but it was a huge factor in my decision to go with the Ultra.

My Ultra shows up tomorrow and I'm already disappointed.

Darn it...

Please help!

They do exist. I ordered 2500 of them, and should have them next week (it has taken a month to get them built).

These are the 200 mAh LiFePO4, perfect for 6V vaping with the ultra.

Cheers,

I don't like posting links to other vendor websites in a vendor forum, but, since innovapor doesn't have any, you can get them here:
Protected 14250 Battery, 350 mAH

I am pretty sure these will not work because they are too long, if you stack 2 of these in the Ultra.

Also keep in mind that these are 3.7V batteries so using 2 will get you vaping at 7V+

Hang in there, LiFePO 14250 3.2V 200 mAh batteries on on the way!

you are correct, I have these batts and the diameter is too large on one to even get into the tube and they are two long with protection circuit. And like you said, vaping at 8 volts on a full charge is nort much fun unless you have some really high resistance attys.

Whew.

I feel better :)

WW

yeah the ones they have coming are 3volts or 3.2 and they will be great if you need that extra nicotine demon chaser. they wont last very long at 200mah but it is still great to have the versatility and or option.

to the original poster: I actually ran into the same thing and was really bummed that these are nearly impossible to get. I do not think that there is a single US supplier that has them but I got into contact with some battery manufactures in China and finally found someone that makes them but they have a minimum order of 2500 batts so thank god innovapor has the capacity to order them.

The batteries will ship tomorrow or the next day from China via DHL... with luck we should have them in 5-7 days! Looking forward to the Ultra at 6V...

Many thanks to atavanhalen for finding us the supplier, we have 2500 coming soon and that should keep us all chasing the nic dragon every now and then for the foreseeable future ;)
