Mod Battery Confusion

Hey All,

I purchased an Apex Alpha Ultramax but now I need batteries.

The single 17670 battery for 3.7V is fine, I get that.

However I am totally confused about the 2 x RCR123a batteries. There seems to be so many different ones! Innovapor recommend Tenergy RCR123A LFP 3.2v Rechargeables.

I am wondering what the implications are if I used the following: (both rated at 3.7V)
• Soshine RCR123 700mah or
• AW RCR123 750mah

Will this actually be 7.4V vaping instead of 6V? What happens if there are too many volts going in? Can this still be done without damaging anything?

I am on a budget and I can get a mixed 3.7V Charger that will charge both types listed above, but if I get the 3.2 LFP's I will need a seperate charger.

Totally confused, please help :)

Using two 3.7 bats will be 7.4 volts and will pop attys if they are not rated high enough. I have tried it and didn't like it, too hot and seemed to strip all the flavor away. I used 5 ohm attys btw. My advice would be to wait till you can afford the extra charger before going to 6 volts. A LR atty on 3.7 is a good combination in the mean time.

4.6 ohm at 6v is less wattage (heat/TH) than a 1.5 ohm at 3.7v but more than a 2ohm at 3.7v

Should be close to a 1.8 ohm at 3.7v a vape of around 7.8 watts, I enjoy that but if your looking for High Voltage type heat then yea that wouldn't really be showcasing it.

edit: oh your using 3.2v batteries, yea the 4.6ohm is going to be something like a 1.5 ohm on your 3.7 battery.
