Ok, so I admit I am easily bored.

I have been vaping for about a month and started collecting flavors and tanks. I tried a few different companies for juice and some were good and some...well not so much. I then started mixing my juices. I came up with some really amazing stuff. I plan to buy concentrates and lay some more.

That said I had an evil experience today. I am not sure really WHY I did it. I had made up a very good raspberry/blueberry lemonade and some juices that were getting close to a Twizzlers flavor.

sooo.... I added raspberry and blueberry to a peach ...not awful, but not great. I then added a bit of black liquorish and a drop of sweetener and a drop of menthol. I cut the mix with some pure VG to mute it.

Now I admit fully I was just playing around. The final mix is about 25/75 PG/VG and 1.6% nic.

and it taste like peach Robitussin (if they made one)
:glug:
I can't stop vaping it. I hate it. I can't stop vaping it. I went through almost a full Kanger Pro tank today. I let a friend try it. You would think they sucked a lemon. They tried it three more times...lol

So far I think it is great for cleansing between other flavors and unlike many of my others it does not weaken from constant use. This would also explain why I am writing this from a foggy room.

This so far is officially my weirdest experience vaping.

I may play some more with it.. I have added licorice to many flavors in varying amounts with great results. I think the added drop of menthol is what really did it.

I may have to make something soon... it is just such a weird taste and combination. The tank runeth dry

ok..had only a touch left.

So I added 1/2 tank of peach juice, 8 drops of black licorice, 1 drop extreme ice concentrate (MT Baker menthol concentrate) and 1 drop sweetener. Then I finished up the tank with VG.

Very muted, but not bad at all. Not as mediciny, but does need about 4 more drops of licorice... really wish I had some concentrate instead of juice.

Still missing something. Added 4 drops of Bourbon concentrate. Yes, I know, I am breaking all the "rules" of DIY juices. But I believe in binary searches. Once I find a direction I can take another step...going to go warm this up a bit and report back

Ok, I wiped out that tank in record time. That was really good. So poisoning myself had some benefit after all.

I now know what flavors to find in concentrate. Then I can work on perfecting the recipe... *YEAH!*

I need another tank full for testing purposes... hrmm, now where did I put that bourbon concentrate

I'm getting the idea that DIY is a lot like freestyle cooking... just keep adding stuff until it tastes good.

To me, the secret to cooking is making boiling water smell and taste good.

Truer words were never spoken... er written.

I am staring sadly at my empty tank. I have a 15ml bottle nearby so I think I will see what ratios can rework the magic. The problem will be when I get the concetrates in. The different forms of juice I am using will have to be reconfigured. For example the peach I am using is a 65/35 18mg with 3 shots and to bourbon is concentrate, etc. So my pan is to know what flavor profile I want to come up with and then match it based on the ratios I like. The current mix cuts very well with VG and I think it vapes better with more VG in the mix... smoother throat hit and nice exhale.

When I read the title of your thread I was immediately reminded of one of my first DIY faux pas. I had the hair-brained idea that menthol-cherry would taste good... Robitussin cough drops nailed on the head. Fuuuuu!!

I swear I still have that 10ml batch somewhere. 2.5 years... maybe it's steeped long enough lol!

Oh, sounds good, but I'd add a tough of sweet orange - that Grand Mariner thing you know, goes good when making an absinthe margarita and, that's what that stuff is sounding like. :)

I do it too Blech but, if I add.... ew, now it needs.... hmmm maybe some..... wait, now where is my.... getting there so, this will do it... ALMOST, now.... Oops, nic dizzy, 3 tanks later. LOL.
