Adapters w/ tanks?

Are you all using a 510-510 adapter with your tanks on a P+? I have a MAP tank and I'm going to get a mini cartomator to go with my P+ 18500.

I did at first, but I'm equal parts form and function. With the adapter, it was 20-80, respectively. As long as the cartomizer in that cartomator tank isn't flanged, there shouldn't be a problem and your p+ will fire like a champ. If it is flanged, the cartomizer won't screw all the way in and won't make contact with the center pin, thus requiring the 510-510 extender.

Here is a picture of one of my previous setups... P+500 with SS Liquinator. There was no need for adapters with this specific setup.

Thank you faux I don't use the LQ anymore but I do love the way that setup looks a lot. And I really love it with the original P18!

Doomed, you really shouldn't need an adapter with most carto tanks. Just slide the tank upward to get the connection and air clearance you need.
