So I have a P+ 18650 ordered, and I might order a Kick. After seeing some of the tanks available now, I think I really want one. But I have a few questions.

I've seen some people saying they use the Big Daddy Vapors tanks. I was thinking about getting their Big Daddy 5ml Pro-Cise finished tank. They also have 1.5 Ohm dual coil cartomomizers for them. Should this setup work with my P+ 18650?

Also I have some older style 901/510 drip tips. Would these fit the 510 cartomizers fine? I have one that should match the Precise and tank really well.

Do you recommend the flat or slant cap on the P+ when using these tanks?

Do these tanks leak if you lay them on their side?

Anything else I should know? I'm a complete newbie with tanks and cartomizers.

Thanks.

No, I've been using regular 901 carts on a Super Six with stacked CR2 batteries for 6 volts.

I actually fell off the wagon last year and went back to smoking. My wife recently broke the habit again and went back to vaping, about two months ago. She hasn't had one since, and only uses her Precise 10440. So the pressure is on me to quit again, and I really need to do it.

When I was pretty active on here, the Super Six was the big bad mod, and no one thought that much of running stacked unprotected CR2 batteries. So I'm out of date and old. While I've heard of carto's, I've never used one, and tanks are totally new to me.

I like the idea of a tank so I don't have to refill constantly. 5ml would probably last me all day.

Okay.
The cartomizer tanks are amazing. It still baffles my mind how they work so well. They don't leak (rare exceptions), they prolong the longevity of the cartomizer, super convenient and long lasting. I loved them so much at one point I had seven of them. After some months of using them though, certain negatives about them caused me to give them up entirely.
I never found a cartomizer which didn't alter or mute the flavor of the juice. It's difficult to change juice flavors at a whim - I'd get a tank going and pretty much know that I'd be stuck with that flavor in that tank for WEEKS. Eventually I went back to dripping.
But in your situation it might be just the ticket. You'd always have a very good vape immediately available for as long as you want. Tanks worked very well for me when I was battling the dragon.
It's just my opinion - get a tank. Almost everybody loves them and the positive far outweigh the minor negatives.
Personally I like the flat top, with or without a tank.

If you already like cartomizers, and you don't change juice much, I think a tank would be perfect for you.

Have you tried dual coils already at 3.7volts? I would recommend not using 1.5 ohm dual coils - 3.7 volts doesn't put quite enough power into them (most people like them at least 4.2 volts) - they're not terrible at 3.7, but don't really give you the full experience. I would recommend finding some 1.25 ohm dual coils to use at 3.7. Doesn't hurt to order some 1.5's to try if you'd like - you may end up preferring them a little cooler.

The 901 (3.2 Ohms I think) with batteries hot off the charger is pretty hot. I tend to like it when the batteries tone down a bit around 3 to 3.2 volt range. I think it's just over 11 watts. I will probably be running a kick, so will have it turned to max 10 watts anyway. So atomizer Ohms won't matter as much.

Right on - sounds like you vape in the 11-12 watt range - I think for a normal 3.7v battery you'd prefer the 1.25 ohm dual coils. If you're using a kick then the resistance wouldn't matter as much except that you'd pull less amps using higher resistance - so you may want to pick up some 2.5 - 3 ohm dual coils.
