Hi guys:

Yesterday I tried this tip:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=301077

My opinion is that it help to reduce the gunk build up in my cartomizer a lot but in the vapor production I noticed no difference. I really want to increase my vapor production but i dont know what im doing wrong. My setup is a 3.7 mod with a 1.5 dual coil cartomizer. Is there any tips you guys can give me?? Maybe another setup???

PD:
Sorry for my english, is not my first language :)

It's been my experience that if its a tank carto setup that its usually not primed right if you aren't getting enough vapor. try putting a few drops on the carto then give it a go or you can do a few dry pulls without power to pull some juice in. If its a VV you may just have to find that sweet spot

And the winner is....post #5...Daniel13. You get the AttyPops Atta-vaper prize! (this post :p. Most people throw it back and Booo loudly!)

You can't run a 1.5 ohm DCC at 3.7 volts. That DCC is TWO 3.0 ohm coils. You need around 5 volts. And any lower ohms set of coils would probably over-amp your device. In fact, 5 volts at 1.5 ohms for a DCC is 3.333 amps already. May exceed some device specs and you'd have to dial voltage down a bit, depending on the device.

Try a single 1.5 or even 2.0 ohm coil instead.

:thumb: I agree with AttyPops. To gain the full benefit of a dual coil carto you need 4.5 volts running through them. I prefer single coils regardless of the voltage.

Use a 2.0 ohm single coil carto (Boge) on your eGo battery, increase the ratio of Vg in your next juice order, and you'll notice more vapor.

Wouldn't adding distilled water also lessen the flavoring?

Yep. Good point. I wasn't going to comment much on water thing...but... I changed my mind. 10% is A LOT of water. People sometimes add a few drops to either thin the juice or help it be more...humid...

You CAN add up to 10% but ...I think that's a bit much.

Also, I never bothered to use distilled water. I have heavy/hard tap water too...and I just used a few drops if I wanted it in the mix..and used the atomizer for a month or two without issues. However if you only need a few drops, and want to use distilled, just boil a pot of water and collect some on the cover.

With normal cleaning and/or the action of the e-juice and/or the small amount of water...it wan't a build-up issue. e-juice gunk builds up faster than any mineral deposits, or they wash or dissolve off.

Just IMHO.

Adding Anything besides Flavoring to an existing e-Liquid is going to Lessen/Change the Flavor to a Certain Degree.

What I have found is that sometimes I have an e-Liquid that Tastes "Heavy". Too much Aftertaste. Kinda Coats the Mouth. Not something I wait to Chain Vape.

But I'll add a few Drops of Water to a 10ml Bottle and the Flavor is Better.

Not sure if why, but it can help sometimes.

This is actually how I got into Adding Water.

I found that Flushing out a CE2 before each Refill prolonged the time between Dry Burns. I used to dry out the CE2 Completely before Refilling.

Then one day I was in a Hurry and didn't have a Dry CE2. So I just Flushed out the CE2 I was using and Filled it up. Gave it a Good Shake to Mix the Water from the Wicks to the e-Liquid as much as Possible.

I figured that it would be Weak due to the Water. And the First Hit of Two was. But after that, it tasted Better. A Lot Better. Seemed the Water took the Edge off my DIY e-Liquid.

I started adding Water to my DIY recipes and the ALL seemed to taste Better.

I Laughed my .... off thinking that Maybe the Secrete Ingredient to Retail e-Liquids was Water.

Plain Old Water.

LOL

One negative thing about adding water is that in some devices and at some power settings it can cause sputtering and "spitting", and nobody likes hot juice being shot up their drip tip into their mouth.

Most of my juices are 20/80 or 30/70 pg/vg. The higher VG gives GREAT vapor production, although the lower PG makes for less throat hit (which I like, because I prefer a smoother vape...)
