Adding Nic directly to tank

Hi Folks, I am running a Uwell Nunkachu 5ML sub ohm tank. I normally vape at 3mg nic content (70/30). Sometime I am in the mood for more kick (like when drinking lol), I was wondering if it's a good or bad idea to boost nic content "on demand" directly in my tank once in a while. I have a fresh bottle of Base 60 (50/50) nic. I can do the math etc to figure out the quantity, but what I'm worried about is if it will mix ok in the tank or require vigorous shaking/ steeping.

I know some will say just buy more juice at 6mg, but I am cheap and dont want a 6mg bottle hanging around for occasional use. Plus I like to explore diff flavors.

I think this is a crazy idea as you risk the chance that the nic does not mix well at first and you could potentially get a hit of pure nic

You need to ensure the nicotine is thoroughly mixed in. I'll let you come up with your own process of mixing, I don't know if vigorously shaking a tank poses any kind of risk to leaking. Never tried.

If you need a stronger hit when you are drinking, get a second device and fill it with a high nicotine mix.
Back ups for back ups are the recipe for success.

Just dilute your nic to 6-10 mg, then add it.

Get another bottle, put some of your juice in it, and add some nic (after doing the math, of course).

Thanks for the replies all. That's what I was worried about potentially not dispersing well. I think the best alternative is Delores idea to mix small batches in another small bottle and shake it well. This sort of accomplishes the same thing.

Personally I would just pull off a few mls and boost in a separate bottle.

I agree with Delores. I have done what you proposed with a small pod before... if you do want to do this directly in your tank, I suggest using a syringe with blunt needle. Instead of "shaking it" just tip back and forth a bunch of times. Does your tank ever leak?

I would use a syringe to measure the nic concentrate. My tank is solid, never leaks a drop, quite happy with it so far!

Do your math... you will know if you messed up. Another way to do this is use an empty juice bottle, fill it with nic, then count drops (small bottle tip is about 30 drops/ml, eye dropper is about 20 drops/ml)

I have added nic to a tank with no real problems but I was going for higher nic setups (a couple) when I relapsed into smoking and it was fine. I wasn't using them much however.

And yes nic sickness suck the worst I got it was through really strong snus not vaping though.. I puked in the bath tub. There are worse places tp hurl I guess but it still wasn't pleasant.
