hiya newbie here.. and i was trying to put a picture of me in my profile.. i took the pic into photo shop and resized it to 100. by 100. so it would not be to big and yet it keeps telling me it failed.... HELP PLEASE!adding picture to profile

I think you have a cerrtain amount of post posted in the grooup before a picture can be posted, I think

so you have to have so many posts to put a picture in your profile. but you cant post anywhere but here...in the newbie forum.. well i think im almost there i have like 14

I just did mine, and I have less then 5 posts.
I went into photo bucket, and custom re sized to 112x149
Then I just put in the hyperlink rather then using the upload file.

I keep trying to change my picture but it won't change, says upload failed but the pic is of the right size..not sure what to do. I delete current pic, upload from my computer but nothing. Anyone?
Can anyone start at step 1? I would appreciate any help, as I don't see any option for a user picture. Again, thanks for any help and have a wonderful day if you have the choice.
Oops. Found where to set up a picture. Now I just have to mess around and try to find a 150 by 150 pic that doesn't say invalid. One of these days I'll get it together. Thanks anyways fellow vapeers
Sometimes is that the pic take many bytes, the server denied to upload.
i tried attaching a pic also, it stuck to my profile page but when i make posts the pic isnt there...dont know what i do wrong
I'm so glad I found this..I was wondering why I couldn't upload a photo. I figured it was that. Thanks for confirming!
