hello!

so i just recently bought a Kangertech EVOD vaporizer. i was wondering what i could, or should add to it to make my vaping experience better. ive thought about buying a glass tank (is it called a tank?) to put on it. any help would be appreciated, im just looking for a better vaping experience. theirs so many vaporizers out there, whats the local opinion on EVOD, i find my experience to be fairly pleasant.

below are two links, the first is what i actually bought, the second is the glass tank think i was talking about.

also as a side note do you have any flavors you would recommend i try?

Yah they are called tanks. Certain juices crack plastic clearomizers/tanks so glass is good for that. As to flavors. . All depends what you like.. experiment w flavors & pg/vg ratios until you are happy. I really dont like tobacco tasting juices.. I like soda flavors and fruit and mint and candy flavors.. so good!

I can has tapatalked this.

Hello :) Glad you found something that's working for you. EVODs are highly recommended for new folks. I've yet to try the glass EVOD clearomizer (tank). I've used the regular one and they work great :)

I use a MT3s and ego. Why is that good just for "new folks"??? I've tried em all. I don't like vaping a very warm pile. Vaping tastes are personal. I like lightweight and what hits like my cig used to do. Where did all this "new" stuff come from? Makes me laugh. Lemmings.

My unit: ego900mah and mini evod 1.8 ohm. Winboro Lights (14mg) Koolport Ice (14mg) Vape on!

I don't think he was implying that they are ONLY good for new folks. Some people like Cigalikes, some like EGO/Evod type setups, and some like Drippers (RDAs) and some like Rebuildable tanks (RBA). Some like cartomizers, and some like tank cartomizers... there's no telling where someone will end up on their vaping journey. But a good first or second step is an evod. They may never need a third.

Eh, whatever. Funny, I just recommended a VV3 over an MVP to a newbie on another thread. Didn't sound like a pejorative answer to me, but anyhow...

The PT2 mini is a great clearomizer (tank), and a good step up from the EVOD. It has a glass tank, a replaceable coil, you can remove the drip tip (mouth piece) and replace it with something else if you want to, and as your vaping experience increases, the heads can be easily rebuilt if that's a direction you find yourself going in.

Good luck, and welcome to ECF!

A drip tip is the bit you put in your mouth. A tank holds the liquid, so your Evod, the top part, not the battery, is a tank. A clearomizer is a tank that you can see through. Your Evod tank is a clearomizer, although it only has little windows instead of being see-through all around. A glassomizer is like a clearomizer, only made of glass instead of plastic. A cartomizer is a plastic or metal tube, often stuffed with some kind of material to soak up the juice, with an atomizer attached. The atomizer is the part that heats up and vaporizes the liquid. If you started with a so-called "cigalike", the e-cigs that look like cigarettes, it was composed of a battery and a cartomizer which held the atomizer and the juice. If you do some Googling or searching on Youtube you can find more than you'll ever need to know about the parts of an e-cig.

wow thanks that explains a lot! so a drip tip is just a mouth piece?

Yes. They don't come off the Evod tanks so they just seem to be part of the tank, but they are removable and replaceable on some of the other Kanger tanks. People who like to use their own drip tips need to check for that feature when buying tanks.
