Additives

Does anyone know about the additives that may be in juice? For example, I'm currently using Totally Wicked Ginseng. Does it really have ginseng in it or is it just a flavor name. And what about all the other myriad of flavors out there. Are there extracts in them? I'm curious to know

I know TW list all ingredients and ginseng isn't one of them, but there sure are a lot of other chemical in the stuff (tobacco lead oil?)

There ain't nothing stupid about that question. Unfortunately most of them don't list what chemicals are in them.

I've seen two sample bottles from two different suppliers with ingrediants listed. I seem to remember (because it's gone now) seeing citric acid (fruit juice) added.

I add citric acid to all of my home brew juice. It makes the tase better of anything and smells more like JC. It acts as an antioxidant (for the atty?) even in TW juice from what I have read even on Wiki.

On a serious note, there are juices available that definitely do contain vitamins and such but whether those would be adequately transferred to the body I don't know.
