Also the airholes on the base are a big clue, if you turn it to the biggest setting the hole should either look normal (ring correct way up) or be misaligned (ring upside-down).
You can block the air holes on the body with q-tips.You can also sand down the AFR (takes forever)after screwing done the top cap tight.I love it with both holes open and .8 dual carb.
