I've said all along, the only reason they sell any liquor in flavors other than vodka is to market to children and get them addicted to alcohol. Same goes for beer.

Then you have all those sweets and desserts, they're not sold for adults because adults don't like that stuff. It's all to hook kids on sugar.

I'm sorry but I don't know anyone like this guy! I bet his life is just as boring as his taste in food!

It's weird, but I kind of do know somebody like this guy. Me. I've always tended to prefer plain food, and am not attracted (I'm actually very turned off) by rich sauces and spicing. Pretzels are an exciting food for me.

That's actually fortunate as I have really bad reflux and plain food doesn't tend to set that off, so it's possible it's a learned response. Except that even as a child I didn't particularly care for heavy, overdone meals and absolutely refuse to eat French food.

I'd do well in Ireland, though. Get me some cabbage and boil it.

:). You're an exception. I'm sure there are a few, but the majority of adults are different.

Okay I admit that the article had me going there for a couple of paragraphs, until it finally ocurred to me that it was a spoof

But I never did quite make sense of the the "Clint Tolliver" part. There's a j/k there, I just can't figure it out. Is there some nursery rhyme that's at the bottom of it? An Aesop's fable, or a Grimm's fairy tale? Is it a joke on something on Nickelodian like SpongeBob or iCarly? A disney thing like Hannah Montana? Can't be one of the old Warner Bro.s cartoons.

I know I'm going to feel like a total idiot when someone tells me

Are you referring to liquor or e liquid. I see no concern for one and a lot of concern for the other.

Sorry for being dense, but ... are you describing your own concerns, or the "concerns" of (say) the ALA, FDA, CDC, ACS, etc?

Or are you (perhaps) being ironic/facetious/etc.?

And is the "one" e-liquid and the "other" liquor? Or vice-versa?

Since I enjoy your posts so much, I will try to find you some boiled-cabbage e-liquid!

Actually, I'm kind of a meat-and-potatoes person myself. Don't do spices, not even black pepper. About the most complex flavor I like is chocolate and raspberry... and I find this applies to e-liquid as well. With one exception, all my favorite e-flavors are single-flavor fruits or vanilla variants.

I can't extract anything mythic relating to a Clint Tolliver from my brain; I think he's just a fictional sourpuss guy.

The picture is a stock image of "Portrait of annoyed bald man with a big mustache expressing anger".

It's a spoof - not sure if there is a name reference.... the 'clue' is "Adults do not like flavor. It’s why you don’t see flavored alcohol or obese people over 18." Obviously wrong on both accounts. ;)
