Is there a way to perform an advanced search, i.e. search by text string within a specific subforum? I've only been able to find a basic search string search that returns results across all of ECF, but it would be quite helpful to be able to limit the search to a specific subforum. Not a criticism in any way - I love ECF - I just would like to be able to better target my searchs for information. TIA!

It took me awhile to find them, when I first stated using the forum too.
when you're in a subforum...above the first post, on the far right, there should be a search forum option, then you can do advanced search. It should default to the subforum you're in. At the top top right, there's the search box and below it there's an advanced search. I'm not sure if you start there if it just lists the main forums or also includes the subforums.
Also when you're in a thread, note there's a search thread option at the top

Also doing a Google search is often useful, and leads you right back here.
