Greetings! I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Kanger Emow Mega starter kit. I have ordered several different ejuices to start out with. It is supposed to arrive Saturday, I think this will really help me to finally quit smoking cigarettes for good. Should I order more tanks to keep similar flavors together? I suppose I should at least have another starter kit as back up, what's your favorite vape? And why?

It seems most folks start with one tank and mod but before long, they get a backup and a backup to the backup. I'd say your next step should you decide to expand is to get either an Aspire Nautilus or Kanger Genitank which are two amazing tanks. And perhaps some sort of 30watt mod be it the new eLeaf iStick 30w or an IPV Mini. This way if you do decide to vape at higher wattages, such as if you get into building or purchase one of the sub-ohm tanks, you'll have that option. Best of luck and don't hesitate to meander about here and on Youtube...great vaping resources to be found.

Welcome to ECF!!

My current Mod becomes my back-up when I get a new Mod.

I don't think that a juice tastes the same to everybody. Different systems, different draw, different power settings, just different. But, for me, I like the "samplers" that many on-line vendors have. I get to try more flavors on my system, my draw, my power settings, and my taste buds.

I have a spreadsheet for my juices and I rate them. When I find a top-rating flavor, I know I can go back to it.

As to tanks, I have many. I have a tank with higher nic to go with my morning coffee. Currently it is a chocolate mint. In my stand I have 5 others that are my daytime vapes. Since I lose the taste after a couple of hours, I change toppers a lot. Then, I have one tank and two drippers with a step-down nic level for relaxing in the evening. I naturally vape more and I don't want to overdose on nic. The drippers stay at home and I use those more. The night time tank is for going out to a vaping friends house. I just tend to vape more.

So, yes, having more than one topper helps make the hobby fun. I always thought that cigs were boring. Vaping is not.

Have fun!!

Welcome to the forum SilkSpectre!
Best advice I can give is to find a vape shop where you can sample a bunch of different juice flavors. This will help you to narrow down the selection among some basic flavor profiles: tobaccos, desserts, fruits, candies, mints/menthols, etc. A few extra inexpensive glass-lined tanks like the Aspire ETS would be a good idea, along with some extra coil assemblies.
Don't hesitate to ask if you have questions. Best of luck to you.

Right on. This guy knows what he is talking about.

Have patience before you upgrade. Research and compare any new equipment you are looking to buy. It will svae you money in the end. I have 2 batteries and 6 tanks laying around which I am disappointed with which is a wasted 250 dollars. I settled on a aspire nautilus mini and the istick 20W although I really am interested in the istick 50W.

Let me explain my reasoning for a different company...

I am an Aspire fanboy... But I orered the kanger subtank as well beacuse I like to have a well rounded supply of vape gear...

kanger emow is a great way to start off vaping, so try a different set up when you move forward... you will probably love the Nautilus, if you dont you can always go back to kanger again... I prefer kanger style coils and tanks for higher PG juices.
