Im sorry, i have to add this... I have too

My first mvp2 died three days after i bought it. I immedietly bought another one. The button lights up and it reads ohms, but its all jacked up otherwise. Makes a funny buzzing noise.

Anyway i did like it enough to buy the second one... But then i was like what happens when this breaks too. What ever happened to the first one to break it was minor, im guessing its because a tank broke and leaked all over it.,, anyway. Thats when i looked into the provari i actually went to the website and read the charges for new circuit board, new button, cleaning. I really was like daaang.
Then check out prices for those 1100 mah batteries, $11, ok so the provari is expensive, to start... But im getting ready to buy two more batteries. That is about 5 days of vaping without recharging anything,
I have been pleasantly surprised with my provari and am glad i bought it.

But my mvp2 is nice too. For $43. I can say ive smoked one cigarette since getting the provari, compared to about ten a day. The provari feels like a cigarette to me. It satisfies something thats hard to explain.

Ok thats all im saying. First reccomendation provari and ibtank ( big dogs, or expensive yet perfect vape )
Or my second reccomendation mvp2 and smok dct 101vapes and desertvapes ( beginners or economical and smart )

Where to start?

The VTR actually uses a 48hz chip.

It is more compact than an MVP due to its recessed tank design. I throw it in a pocket for my out and about mod.

If he got a Provari he would still have to by the batteries and charger.

I paid $71 for mine delivered to the UK, a Provari would cost $240 for the basic model in the UK (import or locally sourced)

You got the heavy and durable bit right though.

MVP is lighter, smaller, and more pocket-friendly than the VTR; the VTR is "shorter" than the MVP if you include a tank on the MVP.

33.3 hz - 48 hz. That's still extremely low and still qualifies it as a rattlesnake maker. The Provari uses 800+ hz; I don't know what the hz frequency of the MVP, but it makes a flat line on the ocelloscope just like the Provari does.

Once a VTR is out of warranty, who is going to fix it? The Provari comes with a 1 yr guarantee, and provides lifetime support for the device for minimal fee for service.

I am not going to read thru this, the reccomendation is simple....
Mvp2 with an ibtank.

You will be happy as a pig in poo.

The only thing that made me happier was my provari with my ibtank.
But i understand your decision not to get one. It is very expensive.
I bought many other batteries before i opted for two provaris.

What i will say is this... After getting my provaris, i gave away allll my other batteries, minus my mvp2.

I concur. I picked up the MVP 2.0 first thing this morning after careful consideration. I love my Lavatube 2.5. It's a fantastic tube mod, simple to use. It's my go to mod for home use due to it's size and weight. But I still wanted a mod that I could toss in my shirt pocket but still have plenty of power and control that my little EVOD's just didn't provide. What really cinched my decision on the MVP 2.0 is the USB output port to power/charge my cellphone in case of an emergency. That feature was a brilliant idea on Innokin's part. So my MVP will be used when I'm working. I don't have any experience with the ibtank, though. I use the new AnyVape Davide Aspire model. It uses Aspire dual coil replaceable atty's and can be converted to be compatible with Kangertech protank single coil atty's by removing the adapter and bottom ring. Pyrex glass means you can toss any flavor juice at it and not worry about it cracking or disintegrating. Now if the Lavatube or the MVP are a bit out of your price range, you can probably find a Vamo for around 40 or 50 bucks and it would also make a decent first time mod. I'd stay away from the eVic. It was my first mod and I was not happy with it once I got over the tech gadget appeal of it's control unit.

Yes, with a tank the MVP is much longer and less pocket friendly. I can just throw my VTR in a pocket, pull it out and vape.

The correction to your statement about 33hz stands.

The cost of a new VTR is less than the shipping costs to and back from Provape for a UK customer, which the OP is, without factoring in any actual repair cost so for those outside the US it is meaningless.

Im thinking itaste mvp and gripper vv mod. ?? Maybe?
any other suggestions i could check out would be great.

I want to try some tank carto systems to, i want to avoid wicking systems.
Im thinking protank 3, odessy tank from tw, puff daddy, boge f16. + lots of cartos to try.

I almost missed this thread. (Ouch....too busy watching the UK section...)

Protank 3? yes, why not. Not 100% reliable with the gurgles, but good enough. Nice item.
Odyssey tank? - You're avin' a giraffe on that aren't you. (Seriously...???)
Puff Daddy - never seen it....carto tank?
Boge F16. Appalling. Cheap carto tanks (all) are a terrible pain in the backside.

If you have no 18650 batteries, the best mod is Innokin MVP. £39.99 in "kit" from the UK (not China)
If you have 18650 batteries, there are lots of choices.

If money is really no problem, then I'd get a Provari. (yes, i would...)
Don't buy an eVic or eMode. In fact, Joyetech is p***** me off badly at the moment full stop. Two broken and expensive devices neither warranted.

Just got a Vamo today. Not exactly thrilled, but it's a backup.

Vaperflexion tank (Cloud9) ? Titanide?
