advice needed

I have some t2 heads i just ordered, the ones with the extra long wicks. So i pop one in prime wicks and coil and everything was for a little while but now im getting a burnt metal taste. I was wondering could it be that the long wicks could be the problem.because i never had this problem with the short wicks. Should i cut them?

It may come down to the type of juice you're using... heavy on the VG?? if so, cut those wicks down. They won't wick thick juice all the way up to the coil, and actually kinda hinder the performance... A shorter wick will work much better.
