I have the vamo and right now I'm using the vivi novas. I can't set my voltage past 4.0. What tanks are out there that I can use up to 6.0 and not blow my cartomizers?

I don't understand why you can't set it higher. Do you mean it tastes burnt above 4.0?
what is the reason you want to go so high? It's about the vape (throat hit and vapor production). Variable Voltage allows you to adjust your setting to get the vape you want from whatever ohms or tank/carto/vivi/genesis system that you have. When I used to use tank carto systems I tried different ohm cartos and you just adjust to the vape that you like. I strictly use Genesis rebuildables now and no 2 coils I've wrapped are exactly alike, they vary by a 1/10th of an ohm or so or even at the same ohms vary slightly in vapor production... most likely from the differences in wicks. The point is the higher voltage you run doesn't necessarily give the best vape. 3.0 ohm carto/tank setup I used to run at 4.8 to 5.0 voltage. I get much better vape now from Genesis system at 3.8 to 4.0 voltage and the even better perk is less energy use and longer lasting battery life with the lower voltage setting.
It's not so much that I want it set that high, but it is like you said I want to try my different voltage settings I have. My next step is to buy a genesis style. Right now I'm afraid to go past 4.0.
And it's not that it taste burnt its that I burnt out a carto when I set it high
If in rms mode you will be able to bump up the watts .5 each setting just hit the top right button and go up till it no longer tastes good. If you want to use volts change from rms to no1.
It doesn't matter what tank it is, what matters is the ohm carto that you use. If you are using a low resistance cartomizers at 6 volts you're wasting money big time. Use only the proper resistance cartomizer for the voltage range you vape.

Find 6 volts up at the top. Then follow the blocks straight down until you find the green zone. The green area is the "watts" that you will be vaping = 7.2 watts. Now follow that line straight to the left and you will find the ohm carto that you need = 5 ohm.

You can burn up cartos easily in the voltage mode. You must know the resistance and balance the volts.
What ohms are these carto's you are using?? single or double coil? ... I mean a 2.4 ohm head I use daily at 4.4 volts and it could easily go way higher ... my 3 ohm heads I use at 5 volts and could go higher easily without burnout
There's many cartotank setups. What are you willing to pay? Plastic or pyrex glass tubes? Will you be vaping any cinnamon, citrus flavors, or Pluid in your tank?
The nicest tanks for the money i've found are the IBTanked pyrex tanks. Well constructed and no worries about your juices scorching them.
There are a number of good carto companys out there. I prefer Smok Cartos which many online stores carry. A lot of people also tout Boge cartos. Baditude is the expert on Carto so i'll leave him to recommend a brand to you. I've gone genesis now and won't ever go back to carto/tanks.

Everyone likes the thought of 6volt vaping but when it comes right down to it most prefer to vape in the area of 4.5v or below.
Money is not a problem when it comes to quality. I don't think I will vape at 6 but more in the 4,5 range. All this help is greatly appreciated.
