I'm getting these burning liquid at the back of my throat, much like scalding hot oil everytime i fire my pv up. i'm using their stock build. vertical single coil. plus it leaks through the air hole on certain occasions. anyone have any tips on how to stop it from happening

Your wicking might cos spit back of liquids and make sure you dont flood it to prevent leakage. Using higher vg juice will also reduce leaking.

hi yeah my friend told me that my tank may be flooded. I admit before i used the new coil/wick i forgot to drip a lil juice on it. could that be the issue?

yeah in most cases the tank is flooded. high VG could help as it is slightly thicker. alternatively, bump up the wattage. higher wattage lets it evaporate the liquid faster.

I bumped mine up to 40W for 1.2ohm coil.. it still leaks sometimes when i put it horizontally on the table. is there anyway to prevent flooding in my tank?

Dont have to put too much liquid to prevent flooding. Try not to put it lying down if theres not a need, of you have to, close all the airholes to reduce leaking

depending on ur juice ratio.. usually for me.. higher vg i will put less cotton but more when lower vg... estimations... and when u drip first few drops to saturate the fresh cottons, dont overdo it.. cos its leaks every time when i overdo it. lol

Open up the tank and take a look at the coil and wick.. Fire it up and see if any hotspots on the coil. If all gunked up also may give a bad taste.
If you dry fire the coil/wick they may also be burned already, hence the burn taste

A tip i use to make sure i have the perfect amount of cotton in my coil is to wick it first then use tweezers to slowly pull out the cotton without holding on to the mod or the deck. I make sure that the cotton slightly makes the mod move a tiny bit but not making the mod fall over. Mod falling over would mean theres too much cotton, mod not even moving and cotton does not have any tension at all when pulling means theres too litte cotton.
