Ok long story short my wife is just getting into vaping. As a former smoker she doesn't want anything to do with tanks I've had nic juices in. She has a cov volt mini with a subtank on it. The charge port on the box just died & I need to get her a new one. Preferably something small as she only uses 20w. I have a couple kboxes & lent her one so I'm down to one for my 2 tanks. I've been looking for something cheap to replace hers but at the same time thinking maybe I'll let her keep the one she's using & try one of the rta clone & mech mod combos available. Two that interest me are the moonshot & goblin mini v2. Any thoughts on this situation? Anything I should be looking for in a mod? Whatever I do I'd like to be low maintenance & I like the idea of replaceable batteries & rebuildable tanks with the uncertainty we may face soon.

Does your wife direct lung inhale or mouth to lung?

My wife and I are mouth to lung. I do restricted direct with my kayfuns but they are best known for flavor and mouth to lung.

Proven budget box mods with smaller form factor:

Eleaf Pico
Cloupor Mini
Joyetech VTC Mini

For simple builds and great flavor for mouth to lung I love kayfuns. I've heard great things about the merlin tanks. I plan on buying one once I'm done stocking up on stuff and start experimenting again.

Pico is a good little mod, that does quite a bit for it's size and cost.

For tanks, look at the Merlin. I was a LONG time Sub Tank Mini user, using it as M2L. Kept seeing the buzz about the Merlin so I decided to give it a shot, glad I did. Ended up getting a 2nd one and they have replaced my STm's all together. Getting a really tight draw is about the only knock I can give it, but it is still able to accomplish a M2L. Hopefully they will make more inserts with smaller diameters.
