Advice on cartos

I vape pretty heavy, only for two weeks.. Currently use a Riva UNC 1100 mah, atomizers and cartridges.. Been using the teabag method for filler.. Kind of tired of dripping all the time... Are cartomizers the next step up? I am not ready for a tank system yet... Can I refill Cartomizers with any juice, and do they wear out quick? What is the benefit of a dual cartomiser?

Cartomizers or a bottom feeder would be the next step up. Cartomizers are nice. You fill them and take them with you and don't really have to worry about constantly topping them off like the cartridges...however you still need to refill them but it's less frequent.

The tank systems have their downfalls...at least for me they did. Muted flavor, little vapor, and leaking. Not my cup of tea.

Dual coil cartomizers produce a very warm vapor. Hold more than standard cartomizers if you get the XL. There are tons of different styles and types of dcc's out there. They have silver, black, and clear ones. Some hold 1ml clear up to 5ml. It just depends on what you like. They last a long time too. I had an ego mega dual coil cartomizer last me 7 weeks before it finally got laid to rest. There is a downside to them also...they will eat your batteries up. Not just the charge but in terms of having to replace your batteries before their rightful time. Low resistance is really hard on proprietary batteries like the ego/riva/kgo's. The MOSFET switch in them can't take the pull from the hardware or the heat that they put off. It's a matter of whether or not that would be cumbersome to you. I know people are on tight budgets nowadays but it still is cheaper than smoking.

Thanks for the response... I may try out a few cartomizers and see.. I would guess it screws on the Riva just like the atomizer, yes?

Yes they screw on just like atomizers. Just make sure you get the same type of threading. Riva's only come in 2 types...901 and 510.

You may want to get a 901 cone for your Riva since some of these cartos are larger in diameter than atomizers. The 901 cone is shorter and has a larger hole, but still fits a 510 battery. Liberty Flights has them.

I was exactly in your situation. I don't mind dripping at home but I am on the go. I just started using cartomizers. Definitely a step forward. I don't know what brand I have (whatever Backwood Brew sells, just wanted to try and they where cheap). It's an LR Dual Coil Cartomizer.

Obviously, I can only share my experience with these. I really think it's a great product. My only complaints are one broke prematurely (the plastic cracked) and they can be hard to fill in a hurry.

They last really long. I haven't burned one out and I am on day 3 with one. I tend to drip a bit of fluid in when I have time but they have lasted all day with no need to "top off". I don't even know if you are supposed to top them off, lol, I just do. I keep 2 on me, just incase one fails.

The biggest thing is that every vape is consistent. It is the same every time.

I know I am as new as you but this has been my best purchase. I plan to try other brands but, to me, this is the way to go. Keep your attys and carts for flavors you don't like all day for home use and the cartos for on the go.

The cartomizer if definitely your next step. I remember the days of the blue foam, polyfill, tea bag cartridge mods and am glad they are over. Carto's are so much easier and hassle free. Fill one up, top it off with a few drops every hour or so and just vape. All for the low cost of 1.50 each, if one dies or starts to taste bad just toss it and throw on another one.

I also recommend the resurrectors from CCV. They are great. Also regular boge 510 low resistance cartos are always solid.
