Hello,

I am new to vaping and after trying regular e-cig and checking videos and seeing the amount of vape that people get from box mods i realize that box mod is a must for me.

I've put an eye on eleaf iStick 100wat box mod actually for no reason, just coz i saw it in youtube and people always say there that it is really good.
Maybe i need something different? I want ALOT of vape :D
About Atomizer, no idea, this is where i need the most of your advices, i want it to be rebuildable, i think building own coils will be a great experience. Also it has to be fillable so i can take it with me anywhere and use it instead of smoking.

About budget, well since im a beginner, i don't want to spend too much for everything, maybe some other time, but right now i want to fit into a 70 bucks budget maximum for a whole kit with the batteries and tank.

Waiting for your replies :p

I just picked up the TFV4 tank and I love it. I used the stock triple coil for a few tanks then put in the rba that came with it. First time I had done any wicking on my own. I love it. I'm using it on an iStick TC60W, which really isn't powerful enough for the triple and quad coils the tank comes with, but it runs the rba just fine. I would suggest getting a mod that does temp control, as well. Unless you've already researched it and know it doesn't interest you.

Wismec Reuleaux RX200 + 3 x LG HG2 + Vaperz Cloud 25mm VCMT. More than your budget, but with a good build you will be able to throw decent clouds with acceptable vape time...
Well its about 200$ build, thats way too much for a beginner, plus the Wismec if im not wrong is one of the latest mods, so probably one of the best out there, i need something "good" not the best :D and i still wanna stick with the 70 budget

I heard about TFV4, seems to be really good, does it create alot of clouds? how is the airflow?

Although mod mods can charge 18650 batteries, it is not recommended due to safety concerns. You should also allow funds for a charger.

I don't have much to compare it to. I'm really happy with it, though. The triple coil, I only used briefly. Didn't even try the quad. They both really need around 80 watts to come alive from what I've read. I'm running the rba it came with at 40 watts now. The pics were around 30-35 watts I think.

Fasart,

Welcome to the site!

The Eleaf 100W is a basic but dependable device, I have two and for the price don't mind banging them around. In the beginning you may want to start simple, get vaping and then as you learn go to more advanced gear.

The Uwell Crown is a good tank and the .25 ohm coils produce good flavor and vapor. If you prime them and don't beat them up with high watts they can last at least three weeks. The only catch is finding a liquid you like that you can vape for the life of the coil.

Finding a liquid you like, keeping it simple while you are not smoking is key. While the TFV4 tank is a nice atomizer try to keep to single coil setup to start.

Just my thoughts. I started real simple worked my way up and a friend of mine went advanced and he's smoking because his gear frustrated him.

Just search for iJust 2. It's made by eleaf. I had one and didn't care for it. It would vape really well some times. But some times it would give me a burnt taste. I'm sure it wasn't the device, and just the way I was vaping. I've seen lots of great reviews on it, but that was just my experience with it. I used it for two days before going back and getting a regulated box mod. Now I'm wishing I had just went ahead and got a more powerful one then. I just see it as money I could have saved.

I also suggest a Joyetech eVic VTC Mini, but with the new TRON tank. I've been using mine for a few days now and I am thoroughly pleased with it. I bought mine from LiteCigUSA.net and I highly recommend them. I've never used the eGo ONE Mega tank, but supposedly, the small leaking issue has been resolved with the new TRON tank(I haven't had a leaking issue, thus far).

$73 or so for the kit and two Samsung 25R batteries. 5-pack of atomizers are $12.50 and you can choose between 1.0ohm or 0.5ohm, but the kit comes with one 1.0ohm and two temp control atomizers(Nickel and Titanium: 0.2 and 0.4, respectively). Also, you get free shipping if you purchase one of their signature bottles of liquid. I've done business with them since 2009 and I've always been a satisfied customer.

I hope that I've helped, if you haven't decided yet. :)

I actually got the kit for a co worker who wants to quit. I went with him to go get it, and he had the same problem with bunt hits. He changed to a thinner juice and it works fine now. Weird though cus you cant really tell its thinner so i dunno[emoji57]

yeah, i think you're confused. a box mod is not NEEDED for big clouds. in fact, i can throw bigger clouds with an unregulated tube mod over a box mod... (with the right coil setup) I mean, you can throw competition sized clouds with a mech mod, a regulated tube, ANYTHING.

The NUMBER ONE RULE of ADVANCED VAPING: LEARN OHMS LAW, LEARN EVERYTHING U CAN ABOUT WATTAGE/POWER VAPING, & SUBOHM SAFETY!
You NEED to research the safety side of things before you go and chuck mad clouds, bro!! ;) So, do some reading in our sub-ohm / high watt forums!!

For a device, I would recommend the Evic Mini, or the Kanger Subox Mini w/ Subtank. Either Kit will give ya some great clouds, bro... CLOUDZ!
Good luck & enjoy your vape journey!

Thanks guys,
Because of your advices now i get it that it is not all about the power at the mod :D Coils do the most of the job.
Tomorrow i should get my e-juice with nicotine and we'll see how it goes.

Thought about tank, i'm 99% sure that i want the TFV4 now :D ( before that i thought about kanger subtank pro or mini )
About the mod, didn't think well about it yet, if i'll get the TFV4 tank i'll need some mod that will be able to shoot 100W (istick 100w for example).
In case with other tanks i can get other mod with low Wattage.

I'm afraid to deal with mechmods without wattage control atm :D

About eVic VTC Mini, seems really nice but its 60w while u can get istick 100w for the same price

Anyway atm i have like 20-25$ vape pen ( X6 ), but i replaced coils and it started to shoot nice clouds. So now its all about Juice, if it will replace smoking for me than im gonna look for nice mod and tank from your advices.

Thank ya all ;)
