Bro, 3 pages full of combative-opinions, ugh! vaping IS/can-BE simple!
With the way the market is today, EVERY regulated mod is going to allow you to blow ridiculously huge clouds. From a 40w iStick, to a 75w evic mini (with upgradable firmware) to a 100w device, to a 150w, & a 200w... they will ALL allow you to blow huge clouds. It was 2 years ago, that we had devices with 12-watt limits. Those days, if you wanted to blow huge clouds, it was a better idea to buy a mechanical mod, because in a mechanical-mod without any safety features, and no circuits that cant handle X-amount of wattage/amp-draw, we were able to use the FULL capability of the battery. NO safety. NO circuit-board with componants that cant handle high wattages.. JUST a battery inside of a metal tube that could hit 4.2 volts. Now if u wrap a coil at 0.2 ohms, that 4.2 volts is going to hit 40 freaking watts. 40 freaking watts is enough to fill a small room with vapor.
Past 40 watts, you are honestly only increasing the "amount" of vapor by a teeny tiny bit, while you ARE increasing the HEAT of the vapor (it will feel hotter in your mouth, throat, etc) but MOST of us were very happy with mechanical mods, pulling 40 watts at full charge, with a low-ohm coil.
Now, with a regulated mod, you can use a HIGH resistance coil and STILL have the same quality vape, by using more watts... With a regulated mod, you can basically have the warmest vapor we've ever seen. YES, 50, 80, 100 watts may increase vapor production a bit... but it's also going to BLOW through your liquid, and it's going to BLOW through your battery's life, causing you to have-to switch out the battery more often.
At 40, 50, maybe even 60 watts, your going to get GREAT vapor production, warm vapor, and you aren't going to BLOW through your juice & your battery's charge within an hour. Trust me. People that vape at 100-200w all day every day, can go-through as much as 30ml of e-liquid per day. Do you really want that?
I feel like u are under the misunderstanding that you need more than 40, 50, 60, or 70 watts to blow big clouds. You DONT. Your going to blow the same amount of cloud as a mech at 40w. Its going to be warmer, it's going to go thru e-liquid way too fast, and it's going to blow thru your battery charge. You dont NEED to use high wattage to get a great vape with TONS of visible vapor, bro. You just dont.
You should look at and consider device QUALITY a-lot more seriously than the wattage limit of the circuit board. The Evic VTC mini is built to last, it has the nicest screen (in my opinion) and it's a great SIZE. You don't want to ONLY have the REULUX and have-to vape that huge device out in public, in-front of the mall, the grocery store, and in-front of that cute girl your walking next-to. F that. Find a device that you are going to be able to enjoy in MOST situations, find a device with a GOOD build quality, one that SPEAKS to you, one that LOOKS nice and FEELS nice. Don't worry about wattage. As-long as the device is 40-50w, it's gonna satisfy you in every way you've described you are looking for out of an APV. Simple as that.
I hope I've helped you. BTW dont be intimidated by mech mods. ALL you'd need to enjoy a mech mod is either a OHM-METER (to see what resistance your coil is) and you'd be fine. Just build a coil and shoot for 0.5ohms and your going to get around 30-35 watts from a freshly charged battery. After you check the RES of your coil, there is nothing safety wise to be worried about if u are using good batteries.

& trust me, the clouds you will get at 30-40w from a mechanical mod, are MORE THAN sufficient. & PS- You cannot BEAT the simplicity of a mechanical mod. If the vapor trails, put a new battery in. BOOM, DONE. They hit SMOOTHER than ANY regulated mod that I've ever used, they can be made to be smaller, and they make me happy over-all. In-fact, with all of my favorite regulated mods, I still use my mechanical mods more. I dont have to worry about what voltage/wattage I am at, the battery gives me what it's at, and for some odd reason, I run-into WAY less instances of WANTING to change my wattage, when using a mech mod. In-fact, 99% of the time, I am happy with the vape from a mech mod 100% with NO urges to UP the voltage to clear a gurgly coil, and I almost never want to lower the voltage due-to dry hits either. For some reason, it's as-if the NATURAL voltage I get from a battery in a mech, with a low-resistance coil, well, it seems MADE for vaping.
Simple as that my man. Hope I've cleared some BS up for you tday.
