Bro, 3 pages full of combative-opinions, ugh! vaping IS/can-BE simple!

With the way the market is today, EVERY regulated mod is going to allow you to blow ridiculously huge clouds. From a 40w iStick, to a 75w evic mini (with upgradable firmware) to a 100w device, to a 150w, & a 200w... they will ALL allow you to blow huge clouds. It was 2 years ago, that we had devices with 12-watt limits. Those days, if you wanted to blow huge clouds, it was a better idea to buy a mechanical mod, because in a mechanical-mod without any safety features, and no circuits that cant handle X-amount of wattage/amp-draw, we were able to use the FULL capability of the battery. NO safety. NO circuit-board with componants that cant handle high wattages.. JUST a battery inside of a metal tube that could hit 4.2 volts. Now if u wrap a coil at 0.2 ohms, that 4.2 volts is going to hit 40 freaking watts. 40 freaking watts is enough to fill a small room with vapor.

Past 40 watts, you are honestly only increasing the "amount" of vapor by a teeny tiny bit, while you ARE increasing the HEAT of the vapor (it will feel hotter in your mouth, throat, etc) but MOST of us were very happy with mechanical mods, pulling 40 watts at full charge, with a low-ohm coil.

Now, with a regulated mod, you can use a HIGH resistance coil and STILL have the same quality vape, by using more watts... With a regulated mod, you can basically have the warmest vapor we've ever seen. YES, 50, 80, 100 watts may increase vapor production a bit... but it's also going to BLOW through your liquid, and it's going to BLOW through your battery's life, causing you to have-to switch out the battery more often.

At 40, 50, maybe even 60 watts, your going to get GREAT vapor production, warm vapor, and you aren't going to BLOW through your juice & your battery's charge within an hour. Trust me. People that vape at 100-200w all day every day, can go-through as much as 30ml of e-liquid per day. Do you really want that?

I feel like u are under the misunderstanding that you need more than 40, 50, 60, or 70 watts to blow big clouds. You DONT. Your going to blow the same amount of cloud as a mech at 40w. Its going to be warmer, it's going to go thru e-liquid way too fast, and it's going to blow thru your battery charge. You dont NEED to use high wattage to get a great vape with TONS of visible vapor, bro. You just dont.

You should look at and consider device QUALITY a-lot more seriously than the wattage limit of the circuit board. The Evic VTC mini is built to last, it has the nicest screen (in my opinion) and it's a great SIZE. You don't want to ONLY have the REULUX and have-to vape that huge device out in public, in-front of the mall, the grocery store, and in-front of that cute girl your walking next-to. F that. Find a device that you are going to be able to enjoy in MOST situations, find a device with a GOOD build quality, one that SPEAKS to you, one that LOOKS nice and FEELS nice. Don't worry about wattage. As-long as the device is 40-50w, it's gonna satisfy you in every way you've described you are looking for out of an APV. Simple as that.

I hope I've helped you. BTW dont be intimidated by mech mods. ALL you'd need to enjoy a mech mod is either a OHM-METER (to see what resistance your coil is) and you'd be fine. Just build a coil and shoot for 0.5ohms and your going to get around 30-35 watts from a freshly charged battery. After you check the RES of your coil, there is nothing safety wise to be worried about if u are using good batteries. :) & trust me, the clouds you will get at 30-40w from a mechanical mod, are MORE THAN sufficient. & PS- You cannot BEAT the simplicity of a mechanical mod. If the vapor trails, put a new battery in. BOOM, DONE. They hit SMOOTHER than ANY regulated mod that I've ever used, they can be made to be smaller, and they make me happy over-all. In-fact, with all of my favorite regulated mods, I still use my mechanical mods more. I dont have to worry about what voltage/wattage I am at, the battery gives me what it's at, and for some odd reason, I run-into WAY less instances of WANTING to change my wattage, when using a mech mod. In-fact, 99% of the time, I am happy with the vape from a mech mod 100% with NO urges to UP the voltage to clear a gurgly coil, and I almost never want to lower the voltage due-to dry hits either. For some reason, it's as-if the NATURAL voltage I get from a battery in a mech, with a low-resistance coil, well, it seems MADE for vaping.

Simple as that my man. Hope I've cleared some BS up for you tday. :)

Thanks, this information is very helpful,
Well i can try both, having multiple gadgets only gives me options :p

I'm still getting the Reuleaux RX200 with TFV4 tank fullsize,
But i'd like to try a mechmod too, can you recommend some nice mechmod and the battery and he tank for it? (full kit ).
Also from what i saw, mechmods have sort of an open tank that you can't fill up with liquid and have it in your pocket for all day long without leaking, or maybe i'm wrong ?
I'd like something that i could carry and like you said, vape it everywhere, not only home.

Dripper is what you are talking about. Called a Re-buildable Dripping Atomizer (RDA) and when you see someone with a mech mod blow out a nice big cloud that is probably what they are using. Not remotely a beginner device. RX200 also not a beginner device.

Start off with something simple like the Evic Mini Kit, Subox Mini Kit, IPV D3 and Crown, IPV D3 and Heracles Plus. With any of those set ups at around 30 watts to 60 watts, 0.4 ohms to 0.6 ohms, you will be able to blow a very nice cloud and be in no danger of blowing yourself up. You will also learn the basics of sub ohm vaping which produces the clouds you see.

Just because a box has 200 watts or a coil is 0.01 ohms does not mean the experience required to use them is found in the manual. Plain and simple just because you can does not always mean you should.

Duh so yeah, ended up ordering these things:
Authentic Wismec Reuleaux Mod RX200
3x Authentic Efest Purple IMR 18650 3000mAh 35AMP Batteries
Authentic Smok TFV4 mini Sub-Ohm Full Kit

Thought going to be cheaper but my previous order had to be canceled before i got invoiced since while i've been reading over and over about the product, had there missing pieces such as extra coils etc, plus the batteries were some fake or cheap ones which would probably explode in my hand after a while, oh and funniest part is that the tank appeared to be a clone lol. So yeah made my new order today, that cost me like 137$ this time, and this time i used ebay to do that >.>

Auch on those Efests. They are definitely not 35 amp batteries. They might be 20, but you better treat them as 10 amp batteries and not exceed 90w to be on the safe side.

Why do you think so? they are like 12$-18$ for a piece everywhere
They are here on this list also.
Batteries - EFEST

Because Efest consequently lie about their battery specs. There are no 30 amp 18650s. Even 30 amp batteries are rare, the only real options are the Sony vtc4 and LG hb6. In addition, battery rewrappers like Efest (and many others such as Brillipower, Imren, AWT, etc - who also lie about their battery specs) can change what's under the wrapper without any notice. You can have one battery that can handle 20 amps, but another in an identical wrapper perhaps only handles 10 amps. These companies don't manufacture their batteries (even though the often claim that they do), they buy batteries from companies such Sony, Panasonic, and LG and put their own wrappers on them. It's incredibly expensive to have a battery factory.

Familiarize yourself with Mooch's battery tests in the batteries and chargers subforum, and read Baditude's battery blog.

My ego got broken !!! >.< cannot charge it or do anything with it, thats it , its dead
Since i ordered Wismec and TFV4 from USA, i need to wait for 1-3 weeks plus our postal has some issues atm in my country, i might receive it even after 2 months...

So i decided to get something in my place for now, all of the kits are like 2x of the price in my country. So over paying for something really bad is not an option...
So i've ordered a KangerTech NEBOX 60W TC Starter Kit with express mail, should get it within 48-96 hours.
another 110$ went to nowhere ;(

Wow thats... bad news >.>
thought i looked over the net for those, found this

That's capacity though (which varies according to amp draw, lower capacity high drain batteries may well have a higher capacity under heavy load - as when vaping - than high capacity low discharge batteries), not a high current test.

So alright guys,
I ended up buying 2 builds.
I've got KangerTech NEBOX and Wismec Reuleaux RX200 & TFV4 Mini Full Kit.

I'm very satisfied with both of them.

KangerTech NEBOX - 7 stars ouf of 10
NEBOX is really good, i actually got shocked by it's amount of vapor and taste ( before i had only an ego ) i really liked this one, first of all its all in one, meaning you don't need to buy anything at all, it already has tank built in, and you get couple pre-build coils and an RBA desk.
The flavor is nice, though after trying my other device i realized that Nebox kinda loses the flavor but its still pretty good.
The clouds are really good, you get a huge amount of vapor out of this thing.
The battery life isn't that good, well it might be because i have samsung 2500 mAh battery for it,
I vape alot, i used to be a heavy smoker, Basically i finish the battery in around 6 hours, maybe a little more, but i vape like once in 30-60 min for around 10-20 min non stop.
So yeah, this device is used now when im going outside, work or any other place.
ps. You can pore inside 10ml of juice, for me its enough for work day, so i filled it twice a day till i got my new device, now i fill it once a day and its enough for the work time ( 9-11 hours ).

Wismec Reuleaux RX200 & TFV4 Mini Full Kit. - 9 stars out of 10
This one is just CRAZY, when i opened the package and tried to vape it first time, i was shocked, the flavor is just unbelievable, and the amount of clouds is insane, it is a device for cloud chasers for sure!
The flavor is really good, it almost feels like drinking a sweet drink with the flavor u use, oh god , it is yummie!
The funny part is that i tried 80VG/20PG juice on it, i can't even imagen how good flavor will be with 50/50 juice.
The battery life time is good, i can vape all day and charge it at night, while battery is not dead, just to make sure i have the full battery for the next day.
There is 1 minus tho, it is heavy, too heavy for pocket, i don't really feel comfortable taking it with me anywhere, my pants will fall off lol, well i didnt try yet, but thats how i feel.
ps. That thing uses huge amount of liquid, seriously, 3.5ml is nothing for that thing.
Non stop vaping for like 5-10 minutes and you have to refill it, though it worth every single drop of liquid, as i said the flavor and the clouds are crazy. But i vape on 75W-100W, maybe if u'll vape on 60 or somewhere around or with different coils, u'll be able to use the 3.5ml for longer period ( i'm using sextuple coil head right now )

So yeah the wismec with TFV4 is the best device for me, i just fall in love with it.

So yeah, hope that info will be useful for beginners or those who is looking for their new mod and tank.

I thought about that already too, 70$ is nothing, i believe i'll just buy everything in pieces.
The main reason why i want to fit in to 70, is because where i live we have weird laws about packages,
once its over 69.99$ including shipping i need to pay around 20% of the total price to the postal and they use it as a tax. - i don't really wanna pay that.
The EVic VTC Mini is a great choice but I would forget the tank that comes with it. Just get the mod and a separate tank. This is the advice I was given here on this forum and everything I watched and read since backed up that opinion. Check out Rip Trippers YouTube video on the EVic. Another kit that you might be interested in is the Smok Micro One. It actually comes with the TFV4 mini tank and is and 80w device with TC. It's the one I'm buying tomorrow :). The whole kit can be bought under your budget (and its damn sexy).

Hey, if you don't mind waiting a while for your mod check out Fasttech. The clones have 'styled' in the title but they sell tons of authentic devices.
