Hi all, me again:laugh:

My partner as just started vaping and is using my old: Smart PCC starter kit - STARTER KITS - All Products and she don't like it much but likes my: The VE Riva 1100 Deluxe Kit £34.95 - Deluxe Vaping Kits - Riva 1100 Kit Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

So i am thinking on giving her mine and get myself a new one, i have around £60-80 to spend (already have juice).

What would you buy for maximum Vape and Throat Hit? from this site: Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid .... it don't have to be that site it's just the only one i have used the most.

Looking forward to your replies.

Regards

Romelee

You could go for the Vamo - I treated myself to the Black Chrome one for Christmas -

EGO VV/VW 18650 MOD VAMO £39.95 - MODS & Advanced - Ego VV/VW VAMO Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

You will need some batteries for it & a charger though.

That does look like some kinda beast:).....what would go best with it: Cartomiser or Tank?

If cart what one would you choose?
If Tank what on would you choose?

Also bit confused with this description on that Vamo:

Using the Ego VV in Mini Mode requires an 18350 battery and for full size mode, an 18650 battery

We recommend the AW and eFest IMR batteries (link below) in combination with an XTAR Li-ion charger.

Looking at the: AW : AW IMR Batteries £7.99 - Vaping Spares - Batteries & Passthroughs Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid i see no 18350 or 18650 battery but the eFest does: Efest IMR Batteries £4.95 - Vaping Spares - Batteries & Passthroughs Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid ... Bit confused why they recommend the AW.

Also what charger would it need as there is three links on that page:
XTAR SP2 Charger £26.50 - Vaping Spares - Chargers Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid
XTAR WP2II Charger £14.99 - Vaping Spares - Chargers Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid
XTAR WP6II Charger £22.95 - Vaping Spares - Chargers Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

And does the vamo need any adaptors?

Sorry for the Zillion questions i am a newb and just wanna get it right:blush:

p.s Just out of curiosity what would be the major differences over the one i am using at the moment.

Regards

Rome

I have a lavatube and a VAMO. Both are solid devices, however I'd recommend the VAMO as it has the added feature of vw as well as switch between full length and mini mode. I run viva nova 3.5ml tanks and STVs on them without the need of adapters. If you want to try a kanger t3 which is a good alternative you will need a 510 to ego adapter to avoid the skirt issue. I got the VAMO stainless steel, two 18650 Ernest batteries and a xstar charger for around £60 from vape escape when they were doing 20% off. Use code newyear for 12.5% discount this month. Add a couple of stv tanks and possibly another battery and you'll be good to go. If you're planning on using the mini mode you should get yourself a few 18350 batteries as well and check your charger can cope with both sizes. Saying all that I still use my LT almost daily as I have the mini one and its easier to grab that then mess about collapsing the VAMO as I'm running out of the door.

Romelee, it looks like they are out of stock of the AW 18350 & 18650 sizes. I bought the Efest 18650 2000 mAH (apparently the 3400 mAh efest are too tight a fit). The XTAR WP2II Charger is fine - far safer than the trustfire chargers.
I also got Vivi Nova STV to use with it, but you can use just about anything on the Vamo with out an adapter - including the cartomisers & vision ego that came with your Riva kit.

The major difference is that you can control either the voltage or wattage to for instance, get a hotter vape with more throat hit.

I should just add though that I dug out my old Riva today - I'd forgotten how blooming good it was. About 6 months ago I recommended the Riva to my next door neighbours & ended up ordering a couple of kits for them - they still love them & don't even want to try anything else.

Then today, my next door but one neighbours came to ask me about e-cigs - hence why I again dug out my old Riva for them to try. They are in their late 60's & had tried everything to give up/cut down smoking. Their faces just lit up (no pun intended) when they had a drag on the Riva & asked me to order a kit for them straight away.

Lol, so what I'm trying to say Romelee, is that I love my GGTS & also really like my Vamo - but IMHO, the Riva (or an ego) still rocks :D

Yeah, i too am loving the Riva but i am also a bit of a gadget person and that Vamo looks gadgety:laugh:

I think i will leave the tank and go for just Carts for now, i am looking at the Boge 510 but which one? Low Res or Standard Res?

My 24mg liquid is arriving today (fingers crossed) to replace my 18mg and if the throat with the 24mg hits the spot i won't need to upgrade anyway and i will just buy my partner a Riva like mine.

The tank keeps the cartomiser supplied with juice, meaning that you do not have to constantly keep topping up the cart.

I think you may find this a very useful addition.

Be aware that some cartomisers require a hole punch when used with a tank!
