Hi all,

I first purchased: Smart PCC starter kit - STARTER KITS - All Products with a 180mah battery and this e-liquid: Tobacco flavoured PG eliquid in various strengths and sizes - E-LIQUID - All Products in 24mg.

The problem I had with this e-cig was the lack of vapour, the throat hit was nice but the e-liquid has a nasty coffee taste, some might say that it is the hit that counts but with it lacking vapour it just didn't feel right.

So I purchased this: The VE Riva 1100 Deluxe Kit £34.95 - Deluxe Vaping Kits - Riva 1100 Kit Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid with this e-liquid: RY4 £9.95 - E-Liquids - 30ml Bottles Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid in 18mg.

I am using it with the Clearomiser at the moment, now it seems to be the opposite, I am getting plenty of vapour but the throat hit is quite weak and perhaps a little sweet for my liking.

My question is where am I going wrong, is it the e-liquid dropping from 24mg too 18mg...is it my new e-cig?....would using a Cartomiser be better than using a Clearomiser? …. I am lost:unsure:

Looking forward to your replies

Regards

Clearomisers have a reputation for muting flavour and often reducing the throat hit.
Cartomisers and a good quality tank will give you great flavour and hit. With larger tanks you could be going for a couple of days.

The main advantage of clearos is that they can easily be cleaned for a flavour change. While you can clean carto tanks, changing flavours in a carto is not as easy and will leave traces.

70/30 is a decent ratio in my opinion. I would try picking up a carto and seeing if that makes an improvement for you. If it does then its worth picking up a reasonably priced tank (Watch out for acidic juices if you go plastic) and a multi pack of cartos (You will either need pre punched or get a carto puncher as well. Pre-punched may be better to get started with.)

Totally agree, I recently changed from clearomiser to cartomiser with tank and vv device, The difference is so great that I no longer use my clearomiser.

Will give Carts a go and see how it goes, thx all for the advise:)

Also ordered 24mg of RY4 not 18mg, just want that little extra kick as i only started e-cigs on the 1st of January and need to slowly go down to the lowest MG...and then hopefully quit.

Romelee, Don't put yourself under any pressure to reduce the nicotine content. Nicotine isn't carcinogen & most lekely no more harmful than Caffeine.
