I have been vaping for a week and a half (analog free during that time as well). I have a gas station special that has been working O.K. It has great battery life and I have been refilling the pre-filled cartos. Main problem is lack of flavor when refilling cartos (even after cleaning) I am considering an 808 Elite and wondered if anyone could give me rough dimensions on its size. Also, not sure about the manual battery. How hard is it to acclimate from an auto?

Thanks for any and all help!!!

When I first started vaping I was convinced that I would NEVER want to press a button to get my nicotine...that changed a week later when I ordered my ego and I never looked back to auto batteries. Manual 510 batteries are the way to go dudette. You have soooooooo many more options when it comes to atomizers, cartomizers, tanks, ect.

The KR808 is great as a back up device but I would highly reccomend you look into a true 3.7 device like the k go or e power 14650. Go to youtube and watch reviews on them...grimmgreen has a great review of the e power 14650(and 18650).

I know pressing a button to get your nic sounds wierd but you have to realize that you are no longer a smoker. I personally believe that getting as far away from anything cigarette related is a good thing. That's why all my PVs are mods...they look absolutely nothing like a cigarette and produce wayyy more better tasting vapor.

When I went manual battery from auto it took no time to get used to having to push a button to vape. If it does it won't take more than a day or so for you to get used to it. Also if you get something ego like you won't have to worry about charging your batteries every couple of hours. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. As I have said already go manual...it's the best way to vape(as you can see I didn't put IMO after that :) ).

Elite 808 is about 5 1/2” compared w/ KR808, both w/ cartos:

5 3/8” w/ 901 atty. I started w/ manual battery, nothing to it & no problem!
The Elite 808 is great.

Started with the Cig2o, moved on to M40x with ProSmoke, then on to KR808 Halo G6...and just received my KGO today. I like the form of the G6, but needed more carto capacity, and battery life, so went with the KGO. I will always fall back on the KR808 for backup, I have 5 batteries, but I am VERY excited about the KGO with the dual coil cartos!

Hi Angi... I got my Elite 808 about a week ago and I don't think I've put it down yet! I love this thing, and I think you would too. I have both auto and Manual batts from the first kit I bought and I prefer the manual. Pushing the button is not hard to get used to, and I think I feel like I have more control over the hit with it. No primer puff. The other nice thing about the Elite is that the carto's are much bigger, they hold almost twice the juice the standard cartos will hold. Less refilling! I read all the stuff on here about the vaporizers, mods, attys and I just get confused.. I need simple! And the Elite is about as simple as it gets. And the price for the kit can't be beat.. As for the size, it's a little bigger than the V2 I started with, not as slim but it's not huge, and the bigger battery means longer life between charges. I'm really very happy with the Elite, and I keep my V2's handy for back-up. Congrats on being analog free, BTW!

Excellent advice. Manual Kgo or E-Power would be a good upgrade.

The elite still doesn't have great battery life and you will still be limited to only using standard resistance attys and cartos. For the same price or cheaper you can get a bigger battery PV that will last over twice as long before needing a recharge and will give you alot more options on what you can use since bigger battery PVs can use standard resistance and low resistance attys/cartos. The kGo and the Epower are both great recommendations. I use an Epower and love it. It's simple to use and I get about a day to a day and a half on one battery. Plus it uses non-proprietary batteries which are alot cheaper and last longer before they need to be replaced. Epower batteries cost $4-5 compared to eGo/riva/kGo batts that cost $14-20. Also everything on the Epower is replaceable so it's much cheaper to maintain.

As far as manual or auto, def get a manual battery. It's very easy to get used to and are alot better. It allows you to control your vape alot better, and the most important thing is that manual batteries are sealed so you won't kill it with a juice leak. With an auto battery, if juice leaks into the hole, it's fairly easy to kill the battery
