Here's the thing, I know what I don't want. I don't want to be bothered with juice or changing atomizers. I've looked at blu and even have them as an affiliate account on my blog. What bothers be about blu is you can't pick the flavors you want - you're stuck with the assortment.
From my own experience with blu, I really do think it is a good "beginner" e-cig. I got mine within a week. The carts were easy to stick on and the flavors surprised me. I didn't really want the variety pack and thought I would only want tobacco flavored carts. I was wrong... I absolutely fell in love with the Java Jolt flavor and haven't found another e-liquid that matches it yet. 1 cart does not equal 1 pack of cigarettes but I did find that it could last me most of the day.
As others have stated, you'll find yourself surprised at the flavors you enjoy with e-cigs. From what I've seen in these forums, menthol smokers have the hardest time finding an e-liquid that satisfies them.
Blu really is an easy e-cig if you don't want to refill and worry about spilling liquid all over. Some people have big hands that aren't the most graceful and able. I have a co-worker who has arthritis from years of guitar playing and he can't handle pens let alone droppers and syringes.
The initial investment of the Blu isn't that bad either. For $60 you get two batteries and atomizers, a great PCC, USB charger and wall adapter plus 25 carts. Replacement parts are reasonably priced too at 2 batteries for $20 and 2 atomizers for $10. You can also buy more "cartons" of carts and if you want another variety pack of flavors, you can pick which flavors to go into that variety pack.
Again, this is just my personal experience. I also use a 510 and find it easy but for someone who initially wants absolutely no fuss, I think the Blu is a fine choice as well. The 510 is a great e-cig but there is more of a learning curve to it.
