Aero Tank base shorting?

Is anyone else having issues with the Aero tank shorting their battery?

I have an iTaste v3 and a Smoketech Ace. When I put the aero tank on it works great, however if I tighten it enough that it doesn't wiggle around on the threads the Ace reports 'Low Load' and it reads 0ohms.

This progressively got worse, so I switched back to my mPT3 for a day. I put the aero tank on today and it only reads 9.9ohms and doesn't fire.

Is this an issue of the coil burning out? I considered popping the contact on my two batteries however the minipro3 works fine.

You are crushing the center pin down on the battery.

Turn it off. Use a small screwdriver or paper clip bent to lift the pin and stop over tightening.

Do you use the Kanger Tank support/beauty ring?

Remember snug not crank down on the tank and use beauty ring on ego battery or itaste.

crxess: I'm aware of that, I have diagnosed peoples batteries with that issue before. I lurked a lot before I started so I was aware of the issue; I usually go a few degrees past where it begins to stop wobbling on the threads.
On 510's I just feel for the snug fit.

However, I can't even get it snug, and only happens with this clearo. I'm going to stop at a brick/mortar tomorrow and fiddle with some spare parts.
