I have a couple of Kanger Aero tanks and I like them almost as much as my Nautilus tanks, but the base on one of them keeps coming off.
It is the piece of metal right below the air control. I saw a review on you tube that said if you over tighten the coil you can "blow" the base, which is likely what I did since I was so new to these tanks.
I am able to use pliers and crimp the base back on and it works great for a day or two and then it comes off again.
I am tempted to use JB Weld or something similar, but was hoping somebody might have had the same experience and have a fix.

Same thing happened to me 3 days after I got it. I used pliers and tightened it as hard as I could. It was scary because in order to get the right amount of leverage I had to grip it by the top threading, but I successfully did it without warping it. It hasn't come off since. I tightened it by hand 3-4 times and it came off every time before that.

I forget how it is connected now, but they make this glue called "loctite" that supposedly stops things that are tightened with threading from coming loose. I'd try that before using JB Weld.

I have kanger airflow adapters and they do come apart after time, especially with my wife's provari. I dunno why but I assume her positive pin is a bit high, enough to push the adapter apart when you put the atty on. They have 2 springs inside and they got lost so the ring just freely moves. I use 2 sockets that fit the top and bottom of the adapter and give them a tap with a hammer whenever I have to take them off and clean. I did kinda solve the problem by putting the adapter on her provari, put on the coil head then the tank but it still comes apart after a while.
I don't know the chemical properties of locktite or J&B weld so I haven't tried either until I know if they are safe to use.
