Aero tank conversion bases for David Anyvape

I recently bought an aerotank and found it to be the best tank possible, huge amounts of vapor and flavor.

My previous tank was the Davide Anyvape and when I saw the aerotank conversion bases I had to try.

To my disappointment they just didn't allow the same amount of airflow.

Has anyone else tried these and had any luck?

Is the aerotank conversion base different from the base that come on the aerotank?
