Over the last few months ive completely sworn off kanger products. The last couple packs of single coil replacement heads ive got had been complete trash and I couldnt get my protank 1 or 2s to vape worth a damn. Id switched completely to my taifun and was completely satisified. I woke up today and it was "poor impulse control thursday". Started off with some taco bell breakfast, starbucks and before I knew it I was home cleaning my new aerotank. The tank is visually appealing, feels well built while not being heavy and is generally appealing to the eye. I filled it up with some frankenvape and expected the worst. Much to my suprise the resulting vape was strong, flavorful and pleasant. I would go as far to say as its second only to my taifun in terms of taste and vapor production. This is a knee jerk quick review after only a few puffs but if things hold up this will be a great tank and find its way to my daily rotation.

I'm a kanger fan, with mini pt2 mostly.
Got myself an aerotank and the flavour is amazing! I've had zero issues with the tank so far. :)

And if the coils are bad for some reason you can easily rebuild them and get twice the performance out of them. :)
I didn't think that rebuildning would be such a great step up, but it realy is amazing.

I've got five AeroTanks and I love them. They're my workhorses (for now).

Experimented with a variety of other toppers including IBTanked, Aspire BDC, Smoktech Pyrex UDC, and plastic clearos. I've heard that the Aspire Nautilus is fantastic too, but I've not tried it.

The AeroTank coils were the annoying part for me. I was going through a pack per week. None of my local shops carried them, so I'd have to order online. Occasionally, I'd get a bad one that just didn't vape as well as I knew it was capabale of. That was somewhat frustrating.

Clear liquids would vape fine for several days, but the darker ones would noticeably impact performance and flavor after just two tank fulls. I did overnight alcohol soaks followed by 15 min boils, and got a little more usuable life.

So I learned to rebuild the blasted things. Now I'm a happy camper. If someone gave me a new pack of AeroTank coils, I'd rip out the duals and replace it with a single micro coil (8 wraps 30 gauge kanthal on a 1/16" bit) and cotton wick + cotton flavor wick. I've done side-by-side comparisons of the commercial dual vs. my cotton-wicked micro, and I like mine better.

Ill have to try rebuilding them again. I was rebuilding my single coil heads at 2.5 ohms with cotton wick and a small cotton flavor wick. They worked great for a few hours and then flooded. I got angry and threw them a away and havent tried since.

Yea i've been warned for that, if you've to little cotton that'll happen. Also i store the tank upside down when i'm not using them so i don't flood the cotton.
So far i've been lucky enough to make "perfect" wicks that doesn't flood or choke. (I'm a beginner so it could be beginners luck ^^)

Bought my first today, and first impression is very good indeed. Solid, easy to fill (I was initially put off by all the 'the vacuum will be broken, juice will pour out of every conceivable location' warnings, had no such problem), and GREAT vapor production and flavor. I also like that the dual coil heads are interchangeable with my already-purchased EVOD 2's, as it will make keeping spares handy far less of an issue. I'm still experimenting with equipment a little here and a little there, so the ability to mount this on my sticks as well as any future mods is a big plus as well.

I have 3 aerotanks and love em. Second only to my kayfun and its a close second. I use the stock coils without issue except on high VG or really sweet juices. Even then I still get 3-4 tanks before cleaning. I can tell you though, don't bother dry burning unless you plan on replacing the wicks. Because of the flavor wick in the middle the bottom coil doesn't get cleaned well. I remove the wicks, dryburn and rewick the stock coils with cotton and no flavor wick in he middle without any leaking/flooding issues and the flavor is even better. So far I've gotten 5 tanks of a vanilla custard on one cotton wicked coil without any loss in vape and the same juice kills silica wicked coils in 2 tanks regardless of the tank used.

The addition of the outer punched shield on the new coil design as well as the 1.5 ohm version has me intrigued. Should do well to eliminate flooding/leaking since it closes off all extra space in the slot not taken up by the wick. Should make aligning coils when rebuilding nice and easy too.
