Hi
I'm using the Aerotank V2 on an eleaf 20w. I've been using it since Christmas but this week I've noticed it getting very hot and draining the battery very quickly. I've cleaned it changed the coil and no luck. I put my evod on the eleaf and it's vaping with no issues. I'm using the same liquids same wattage everything.
The only thing I can think of is I'm using a new 5 Pack of coils. Would these be causing the issue? They are reading the correct resistance on the eleaf but they dont seem to be lasting as long as others I've bought.
I thought Kanger had improved the quality on these things?
Would anyone know what I could use to clean my screw threads aswell?
Thanks in advance for any advice

If the only thing that has changed is the coils, that would be where I would look for the problem. As has been said, the Aerotank is old tech, the coils were never the best, and there are fewer of them available now as they are legacy items. You may want to look at a Nautilus or a GS Air.

For me, the 'old' Kanger tanks just can't do the job and the coils are generally shoddy.

What power are you using (W)?

The final VOCC version was bearable but coil life is still too short and you can't run them at much power before the inevitable dry-hit.
I go anywhere from 10-15w with no problems up to now. I have a nautilus but I find the aerotank much better

Ok thanks for your help. I'll check out the gs air
