So I'm trying to buy a new mod. I'm selling my eleaf Tc40w to a friend for $20 and his eleaf 20w(I'm gonna keep it as a backup), and I have another $30 of my own, so I'm looking at a $50 budget.

I've been surfing ebay, and I've narrowed my choices down to 2 mods, the eleaf tc100w or a used ipv4.

Which should I buy? They both have temperature control, and put out about the same amount of wattage. The ipv4 has a better reputation, but it would also be nice to have a new rather than used product. I found a used ipv4 for about $40 and a brand new eleaf tc100w going for about the same. Please give me some advice. Thanks!

I need the money to upgrade though otherwise I only have enough for another 40w :p . I don't find that I have connection problems with it, the only times I did are when I think the tank was just having issues..

I am absolutely ready to "chuck clouds"! :)
In that case I think I'll go with the eLeaf, the new one looks soo cool too.

Thanks for your advice everyone, I'll be a regular on these forums soon enough! :)

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
I wouldn't touch anything made by Eleaf unless you really need 100 watts , superior mods abound like the Sig 75 watt TC for under $40.00 or the iPV 4 which i think is not nearly as good as the all aluminum iPV III but certainly superior to Eleaf .

Google "Vapecrawler" search engine and search the web for great deals , clearance sections have outstanding mods for cheap $$ .

Mods always get a new mod with a warranty if you can. Sometimes mods are perfectly fine used, then some mods have been abused..

Used tanks RDAs and RTAs cab be ckeaned by soaking in Vodka.

Let everything get completely dry. Put coils in. If the resistance is stable it us a pretty good idea the atty is OK.

With a mod: you don't know if they used good batteries of cheap ones and have no idea if juice got in the mod, how much heat the board has been subjected to, etc.

Not my thread by cool suggestion about the search engine.
I have had two eleaf mods the 40tc and the 60 TC.

Both were excellent and both working great.

I will be the first to say that eVic, IPV, Siegeli and others are superior but I wouldn't hesitate to use an eleaf mod.

Now I despise eleaf tanks.
