I did drop it on the floor Thursday night. There was a tiny chip in the outside of the glass tube, but I had an extra so I replaced it. It seemed fine most of yesterday, but started leaking last night. The coil was old so I changed it, and it was fine for awhile. Started leaking into the battery again this morning. I changed the coil and it was ok for a little while, but now its doing it again. All gaskets and o rings appear to be fine, both on the base and the coil. Everything is clean.

Did I somehow mess up the threads in the base with the drop and the coils aren't sealing? It appears fine, but I'm not sure what to do from here. These are the new dual coils. Could be 2 bad ones in a row, but I'm suspecting its something else.

Is it just a drop of liquid on the battery, or leaking all over the place?

When I thought the first coil went it was leaking so bad I wasn't even sure where it was coming from. The second coil went from a drop to a big leak also. Right now we have a drop and I stopped using it and decided to ask you folks.

As I said o rings are all in place and appear good. Its been cleaned daily and is less than a month old.

Both liquids I've used today are ones I've been using so I don't know. Normally I just get some really minor stuff on the battery and no gurgling. Today I get the gurgling, liquid up into my mouth and major leaking.

Last night I had Freemasons Blue Granite in it and then switched this morning to NT Betelgeuse.

I haven't used the dual coils very long, but even with an aerotank mega, there's more liquid under the coil than I would like. But I haven't had any leaking bad enough to get into my mouth. Vacuum helps these tanks from leaking, maybe tighten the top and bottom a little more, or it could be to tight deforming the o-ring.

I recently took apart and cleaned my Aerotank mini and while putting it back together I noticed that one o-ring would deform with the least amount of tightening. Usually I make sure that everything is snugged up pretty tight because I hate leaks (who doesn't). I got pretty frustrated after 4 or 5 tries with the same results. The tank is back together and working fine. It's loose enough to spin the tank while I'm using it but has not leaked at all. I am careful now to attach it to my mod by holding the bottom rather than the top of the tank so I won't get a lapful of juice.

Just an update to my last post. I looked at my Aerotank Mini and one the O-rings was staring back at me through the glass. I loosened everything up assuming that it somehow tightened up. It immediately started to leak. I took it apart (with my glasses on this time) and realized why the o-ring was getting deformed. There were 2 O-rings on one end of the glass and zero o-rings on the other end. I reassembled it (correctly this time) and was able to snug up everything nice and tight. Pleasantly surprised that the tank didn't leak, even when the bottom o-ring was missing.

I found the problem when I went to get the SS sleeve out of the box. The o ring that goes on the metal bottom where the tube sits was never in there, lol! Somehow during shipping it got into the SS tube, oops. I never knew that one wasn't where it was supposed to be.

My first glass was perfect I guess and the thing worked fine without it being in there. The new glass needed it. So, problem solved and chalk it up to a newbie not knowing what it should look like.

I like the mega best as well. I have a mega, MOW and mini.
