Hi, I'm new obviously. I've been vaping for about 6 months or so. I have:
  • innokin MVP 2
  • Kanger Protank 2
  • Kanger Aerotank 1 with v3 airflow control
  • Kanger Unitank Mini
  • innokin Gladius
Background: I buy most of my stuff online at My Vapor Store, and occasionally locally at a Vapor Max store. The Protank, Unitank, and Gladius were given to me used by a friend. He's moved on to a Nautilus. I think I'll probably buy a Nautilus too because of Kanger coils sucking. I don't use the Protank as of yet. The Unitank seems to vape really well actually, but I don't have any extra coils for it. I think the Gladius did well, but I don't have any coils and don't really recall. The Aerotank is my daily driver and I have issues with it.

Kanger Coils: With the Aerotank, there are a few different coil versions. The first version has the outer visible wick. These seem to be the best imo and I'll probably buy several of these. I've used the newer coils with slots and holes on them and I have terrible luck with them. They don't seem to produce much vapor, they flood, and they almost NEVER read the correct resistance on my MVP 2. I use 1.8ohm coils and they typically read anywhere from 2.0 to 9... yes, NINE! Sometimes they will even read NON which means it doesn't work because the MVP doesn't read the coil at all. If I use a v1 coil at 1.8, they typically read 1.8-2.0 until they go bad at around a week. Is this common for the new version coils to be garbage? Is there an issue with the coil, or my MVP, or both? Most of the other stuff reads pretty accurately. Oh, I had a v1 airflow, but I dropped it while drinking one night and it came apart. It didn't perform any better though regarding the coils.

Gladius: I was cleaning my Gladius and lost one of the o-ring type seals that goes around the glass. I think it went down the drain because I was cleaning it while inebriated and was an idiot. :toast: If anyone has seen these, it's not a typical o-ring. It's a rubber gasket though of some sort. I can't find them anywhere online and I can't use the tank without it. I was going to contact Innokin to see if they would send me some or tell me where to get them, but they want the serial number etc. to I guess verify the authenticity of the unit. Since it was a used gift, I don't have the box or manual. Anyone know where I can get these?

Ditch the Aerotank and Kanger brand all together and erase it from your brain. Its 15th century technology.

What you need to do, is get your self Nautilus or Nautilus Mini with BVC coils.

iTaste MVP 2.0 battery is great, if you dont go over 9 watts and 4 volts. After 9 watts, its unable to properly regulate and supply proper electrical current with out burning out coils.

If you are on the budget, then get Eleaf istick + Nautilus tank with BVC coils.

Thanks for the input. I'll probably go with a Nautilus with my MVP 2. I'm using the Unitank mini right now and it put out great vapor. My wife was like "W T F is this" when she walked into the room and it was full of vapor. :vapor:

EDIT: It's definitely Nautilus time. The airflow control v3 that I bought from MVS 2 weeks ago for my Aerotank has completely stopped working. I've put 3 new coils into it and they all read NON on my MVP 2.0 and will not fire at all. I put the same coil in my Protank 2 base and it reads 1.8ohm like it should and works fine. I'm a DONE with Kanger trash. I'll probably throw this Aerotank into the trash with the other garbage and never buy another item with Kanger on it.
