Aerotank v2 is out

So I love my aerotank minis. I just bit the bullet and got an aerotank (Dec 2103) 2 days ago, which is good, better than the PT3, but not nearly as good as the minis. And I just saw tonight that they finally released the "normal" size of the v2

Just thought some of you would appreciate the news. I just ordered it from MyVaporStore, only vendor I saw that has it in stock (they confirmed it by email) but then I didn't really look for too long either. Maybe others have it too. Sun Vapers will have it "soon" but couldn't give me an ETA.

You can also just buy the V2 airflow control to convert an existing V1 Aerotank. The new control is a little taller than the old one, but otherwise fits and works just fine. Here's a pic of a Protank base, the V1 Aerotank control, and the V2 Aerotank control side by side:



And here's the new control on an original Aerotank, "Aerotank V1.5"?

The original aerotank is a classic. IMHO Kanger changed the design only to stop the clone makers. If you are willing to wait on a long lead time, fastech sells an exact clone of the original aerotank for under $7.

I just ordered an Aerotank V2 today (coincidentally also from My Vapor Store). I impulsively grabbed an Aerotank Mini from a B&M yesterday and I was so impressed with it that I had to order a bigger model today. I was originally dying to try the Aerotank Mega, but I really don't like how it always looks empty (unless you apparently plug the airhole with a Q-tip every time you fill), so I'm excited they came out with a mid-sized version so quickly.

Sorry you just got an Aerotank V1 though.

I was like you in the beginning. Hated on the tank cosmetically. But now I fill the mega all the way to the top of the air hole with no Q tip and while it is not 100% filled it looks almost full. I love it now.
