Wow! I got my AFS 2.0 in the mail two days ago, and it is AMAZING! Simple assembly, great style, incredibly easy to use. It's worth every penny (and then some). I had the 1.1 and fought with it enough to decide it wasn't for me. I almost didn't buy the 2.0 because of the difficulty I had using the first one. I am so glad I changed my mind.

I played 18 holes of golf today (5 hours), vaping constantly on my GGTS with the AFS 2.0. One battery (18650), no refills, no dripping, no messing. Came home, topped off, and out to dinner. No more bringing bottles, droppers, syringes, etc. along.

IMEO, you have changed my life. Thank you!

One note about the instructions. It may be obvious, but you don't say when to put the liquid in... Also, I found that you HAVE to close the control ring before you fill it, or you will have a wet hand :-x.

Yes, its not obvious and I had to say this scha my friend, you are right! I will change the AFS advises thread now.

Thank you very much for your words, I get more than happy hearing that I help you to have a better vaping than this silly dripping that we all used to it:):)

This says it all!!!! I got mine yesterday but waited until tonight to try it when I wouldn't be interrupted. I never did get to use the AFS1. I'm quite certain that none of the atties were lasered well enough. This AFS2 in the bomb:thumb::hubba:.

I just watched Rob's video and followed it step by step. It's working great (I think I may have overfilled it at first but now it is working like a dream.) Thanks, IMEO, for making this possible and thanks to Vap'n for all his testing, etc and thanks to Rob & Michele for their speedy service.

Aw, shucks, thanks to all of you for being here with your friendship, great ideas and many, many contributions

Lynn

P.S. Tomorrow when I am more awake, I am going to hook up the UBS device!!!! Doesn't get much better than this!!!!!!!

Imeo, you always please me. I love all my GG's except the AFS1 which could have been user error. ;)

Thanks, Sweetie. Now, let's get the one for the slim produced and shipped. :D

Lynn

wait to make the GGTS AFS first and then I will do as you say lash my dear:)

Great to hear a few good stories about how these two people that didn't have any luck with the first version are getting along so well with this one. That makes my day to know that Lynn is finally NOT dripping and simply enjoying vaping. Lynn when you mentioned you think you overfilled it at first was the fact that when you put the cap on and screw it down it pushes liquid into the atty. What I have been doing lately is to slide the caps over the mouthpiece but not starting to screw them down. (The adjustable draw or Control Ring is shut) Then I blow into the atty to make a little bubble sound inside the tank quickly put your finger over the top of the mouthpiece to cover the hole and then screw down the caps while holding your finger on the mouthpiece. Open up the control ring and start to vape normally. Sounds like a bit of a pain but not too hard when you can start out not flooded...

You can use a 510-901 adapter on it. You will have a gap between the end of your device and the start of the AFS. Here are some pics of the V2 atop my Prodigy, and PS Pass thru.

This is the Prodigy with the 510 cap and an adapter 510 to 901

D, my friend, you've gotta take some Cape Cod cloths to those slims. :D:D
What's wrong with Brasso? :D
I'm joking, I have actually been using a non-abrasive Autoglym resin polish (until recently), but I will certainly look at the Cape Cod cloths next time I order something. The MKII does need a polish, but I kind of like the MKI matt finish now, it has taken on an antique look. Next week of course I might change my mind, I think its cool it can have two different looks - matt and shined up.

The AFS2 is working well, its nice to reach for it and it just works, I was having to refill carts many times a day beforehand.
Should I be using 'No-alox' (is that what its called?) to stop the threads binding on the AFS parts? I got some "Loctite 8060 Aluminium Anti-Seize" but I'm not sure if it is the correct product (or even conductive) - I haven't had a chance to test it yet. Would appreciate any info on the product others are using. May well be I have the right item, I don't know.

Dont put Noalox on AFS cap threads because it contacts with liquid friend.:)
