Hello everyone. Just went 4 days without a cigarette for the first time since the late 60's.....not a single 'craving'...I am simply AMAZED with this'vaping' thing. A BIG 'THANKS' to my friend (he knows who he is) for taking me by the hand (literally) and making sure I went to the shop & got everything I needed. THis is a miracle! SO happy!!!!:D

Congratulations! I have had some success in the past quitting cigarettes, but have always found myself sooner or later back to smoking. Although fairly new to vaping, it is the first time that I have been able to replace my smoking habit, with a similar, but relatively healthy habit. I think that is why vaping is so important. It is hard filling that void, which is why patches, nicotine gum, etc. don't really have much of a success rate. To me, this is different...I haven't really "given up" anything!

Yeah, well, my basic problem has always been that I LOVED smoking!! Totally knew it was something I really shouldn't be doing to myself, but....... I tried 'em all - patch, gum, Zyban, whatever - never went even a whole day without a smoke, no matter what....:(

But this....this is TOTALLY different!! :D

What I completely fail to understand, though, (and I'm sure I'll get a lot of info on here...) is why the Health Department here (Canada) won't approve the sale of nicotine-containing juice (well, sort-of...it certainly isn't difficult to find & buy). It seems absurd to me.

LOLLL you sound like me. I LOVED my cigs. As for HC...lottsa taxes involved, many "non profit" anti cig orgs with Fat Cats making outrageous amounts of $$ but most of all Pharmaceutical companies making big $$ on the backs of those suffering from illnesses associated with smoking- from those using inhalators at home to those lying on their deathbed...it's all about profits with no regard for their fellow man.

EXACTLY!!! I've been saying for YEARS...there's a reason there hasn't been a cure of Cancer..can you imagine how much money these big companies would loose, just per day mind you, if a cure was found? Here a couple of years ago, over in in Europe, I believe it was, there was a fairly big break through in Cancer..was on the new ONE night, then never heard anything about it again.

Anyhow...not trying to get away from the OP and this GREAT news!! Congrats on doing away with smokes!! I bet you are sooo proud of yourself...you should be!!!!!!
