I'm the proud Mama of these babies and all the ego's are in my PIF pile.
Finally got to where I'm confident that I'll have no emergencies and can fire up at any given moment.

Note to Noobs: If you're serious about vaping and really want to quit smoking, stop messing around with the little batteries that constantly need recharging and get yourself something reliable, dependable and well built.
If I only had the money I wasted on the junk...........

Are those MVP1's? If so, how are the batteries holding up after 9 months? The MVP is appealing but it sure seems like a waste to chuck it after the battery is wore out. Of course at $50, it certainly won't break the bank.
I bought both of them last July, when I started out my journey, so I do believe they are 1's. They still work great although I use the ProVari's a lot more. Just got both of those this month.
The only problem with the MVP's is that I have to keep pulling the pins up in them. PITA! Other than that, they've been good to me. I won't have any problems chucking them when the time comes. It will give me an excuse to get another ProVari.

I had the same thoughts and just stuck with my vv Egos. But it occurred to me one day that these Egos are only supposed to last about a year as well. I agree, it's a shame to throw the MVP away, but from a price standpoint it's about the same as a couple of vv Egos. And since you can use it while it's charging, and it gives plenty of warning when it's going to need recharging, you really only need one as opposed to a pair of Egos. Also, with the warm weather coming, I won't be needing a jacket and I think the MVP would be less likely to fall out of my shirt pocket. Couple all of this with the variable wattage control, a cool fire button, puff counter, and days on a single charge, I decided to pull the plug and order one. I can't wait for it to arrive.

Wow... scurred of you.

I must be doing something wrong. My two cheap 650 mah ego batteries have been pretty reliable. One usually lasts all day. When the light starts to blink, I let it sit for a while, then come back & use it again, I can usually get three or four more pulls before the light starts flashing again. Then I grab my second battery out of my bag & use it for about a day. I use the little USB charger that comes with it & when it's done charging, I throw it in my bag (a man bag).

Maybe because I was never a heavy smoker, but my cheap egos are holding up pretty good, I think.

You can't beat 'em. :) The fit everywhere, last forever and if you lose one it's not the end of the world.

I keep half a dozen strewn all over the place. Also, a 1000mah USB pass through in the car just in case.

I've bought and sold many items (VTR, Legend, SVD, eVic, Curve, etc.) in my 9 months.

I still have the two original twists that were my first purchase and I use them regularly, along with several other egos, winders.

I use a couple of other devices too (zmax, box mod), but I would strongly encourage every newbie to get a couple of basic spinner kits first.

The eGOs are a great deal. I have several 1300 VV ones. Why waste money, I can get more juice.
I know they are and I have quite a few but the battery life just does not cut it for me. Plus the fact, I had 2 die on me with 1 week and another one exploded in my kitchen. I just got tired of all that jazz.

Since this is up front I was wondering about the mini Provari?

Have you had any trouble with the paint chipping or scratching? Is it powder coated? I held/tried the Zombie edition and liked the texture of the finish.

After using my mvp for a short time, I'm thinking the mini isn't much heavier?

I'm sad thinking that the battery on the mvp will poop out one day. :(I'll have to toss it out so why not go ahead and get something that will last a long time.

Pink is my favorite color and that's what I would choose for a mini. My only concern is the paint. I've very fussy with my items and take great care to protect them, however accidents do happen.

Other than batteries and a charger, what else would I need to get set up with one?

Also, would I be able to use any tank with a Provari?

Thank you in advance!

No, the mini isn't much heavier than the MVP. Haven't had any chips or scratches on the white one but I am extremely careful with both of them. I believe the white one is powder coated. However, the white is not a bright white as it shows in pix. It's more of a greyish white.
So far I have used the 3.5ml Vivi Nova, iClear 30 & 30B and an occasional 16, which I already had. I just got the 30B (the silver& black striped one) and I really like it so I will probably be getting a few more of those.
Batteries & charger should do it to get started. I'm sure you have tanks you can use until you see something that you MUST have........
