Well, I just got back from the vape store. Great guy the owner. Even though it was bought almost a month ago, he helped me out. He ended up replacing the whole tank unit free of charge! He gave me an extra coil and even threw in a free bottle of juice for my trouble!! On top of that, he let me keep my old tank setup if I wanted to contact the company for a replacement! Best service ever at Big Ed's tobacco shop in Blairsville, Pa!!! I tried out some other setups while I was there, too. I don't think I'm ready to step up to the big leagues just yet. Tried a Sigma 50w box with a Kanger medium sized tank. Holy ....! I couldn't hold the button more than a few seconds. Too much for me!even with the wattage bumped down, it was a powerhouse! Maybe down the road. I'll keep using this and use my V2 as a backup.

Tsunami is a decent company and they do offer a lifetime warranty on the equipment. You just have to look at ebay for new mods and tanks cheap. Currently I'm usling a SMPL mod ($15) with a Kayfun 3.1 rebuildable tank ($15). Best setup I've tried so far. No need to buy new coils as you can make your own. You will need to get some batteries and a charger if you go this route, but it's a lot less expensive than going into a regular smoke shop. I also buy my e-juice online from fasttech.com. comes from china so it takes about 2 weeks to ship, but I get 50 ml of ejuice for 5 bucks instead of 10 ml for $7-$8.

I'm for sure a newbie to all of this. Like many on here, I have been wasting money going in baby steps to get away from (analog?) cigarettes. Smoked for 20 yrs. Wife quit, but I was having a seemingly much harder time. I switched to snuff, and she was OK with that, and still pretty much is.

Only problem was at work. Can't chew, but need nicotine to get through a shift without killing anyone. I used to just make a pack of smokes last for a month, but I hated lying about it.
Finally, I tried an Enjoy throwaway, but that didn't get it. Went to a small rechargeable cig. Ok, but not satisfactory either. Finally got a fillable V2 Pro. Loved it, and still do....until... A friend who is really into vaping let me try his. WOW.

So I bought a bigger (intermediate?) type vape pen. It's a Tsunami Vpower and it was great! For about three weeks. Shame on me for not doing more research, but I sort of got it at the spur of the moment when getting new juice. It was working great; then out of the blue, it will not work. When I press the button, the light blinks white three times and it does nothing. It's fully charged. I replaced the coil? and cleaned it with a cue tip in areas where juice should not be present. Can't seem to find much info about them and their website tells me nothing more than the starter book does.
Hope I didn't throw away fifty+ dollars away on a piece of junk. Hope someone can get through my thesis of a post to help me out. I'm not really looking to get into the hobby aspect of all this, which I am prone to doing, I just need something simple with a bit of oomph that will work reliably. Also, I need it to fit in my pocket for "bathroom" breaks! LOL! Sorry for the long read! Can't sleep!

Are you wrapping your own coils?

If so your current coil may be too low in resistance.

If it is an Ego-T battery the 510 pin may be stuck and your Clearomiser or tank may not be making proper contact.

Another thing to check is put your tank on a friends battery to make sure the problem is not with your tank. The coil may have come loose àt one end.

I agree with much of what you said. BUT some people enjoy building coils and wicking them, and other people hate to do it with a passion.

The only thing I really disagree with you on is buying ejuice from China.

If you get a good ejuice calculator; it is quite easy to make your own ejuice. I have about 350 ml of juice I have made. I like to make my own juice so I know EXACTLY what went in it, and I have control of the nic level and the VG/PG ratio.

Very happy your problem was taken care of.

If I were you I would tell every Vaper I know that the smoke shop took care of faulty gear. There is no better advertising than a happy customer.

If I may be of further assistance just ask.

Im with Bad on this.

It doesnt matter if the owner knows what hes doing or not.

Some coils are bad right out of the package due to poor quality control in China.

I agree 10000%

I have gotten coil heads that leaked like crazy, and other coils that had so much organic cotton inbtgr coil that they had almost 0 wicking ability.

Once you burn a cotton wick the flavor is AWFUL till you throw the coil away and use another one that may or may not be better.

I refuse to deal with pre made coils. I use RTAs (Rebuildable Tank Atomizers)

I rock two tanks.

The Goblin Mini and Kayfun Lite Plus with Bell cap.

I like my coils at .8-1 ohm.

It I definitely this part here. The piece with the airflow adjustment where it connects to the battery.

If I use this new part with my old tank, everything works fine. Somewhere in that piece, it is not making the connection, I guess. Used it a lot yesterday and a good bit today. I think I still may upgrade the more I think about it. I would like to have a battery pack (Mod?-still working on the terminology) because My vape is great for a day, then about halfway though my next shift at work, it stops working so well, as I can tell the battery is getting low. I know I could charge it every night, but I know this will affect the battery in the long run. I figure I can get a 30w pack and another tank and turn everything way down until I get used to things. I think upping my unit may mean toning down the strength of my nic. I wanted to use a high content so when I get a sporadic puff at work, it wouldn't take a long time to satisfy my craving. That 50w on a Kanger tank with 24 MG nic content was more than I could handle! I wish I hadn't been so spontaneous with my purchase. Hard to believe I can get a bigger tank, twice the battery life (if not more), that operates on higher wattage and is more durable for the same price as this! Shoulda checked this forum out sooner!!
