AGA-T2: airier draw, lots of condensation?!?

I just set up my new AGA-T version 2. I was very excited by the possibility of aligning the airhole with the wick (and indeed that's really cool). However, I find that the draw is much airier than on my AGA-T v.1 (which for me was near perfect), maybe because of a larger airhole (it loooks like it by eyeballing them, but I'd like to know if anyone actually measured them). Also, and maybe this is related to the airhole size, I am getting much more (a lot of!) condensation in the chamber.

Thought i would put it out there and see if anyone had a similar experience...

Not sure what the size of the hole on the AGA-T2 is, but I used a small electronic screwdriver to pry through a bit more of an airier hole as I thought the draw was too tight.

The e-liquid condensates in the rba's cap housing as it does with other brands too. Or do you mean moisture condensation?

I was only comparing the AGA-t2 to the version 1 model. I really like the v.1, and hoped that the v.2 would be perfect as it fixes the only flaw (airhole alignment). I was disappointed to find that v.2 had a much airier draw (I realize that most users found the draw on the v.1 too tight, but I didn't). For e-liquid condensation, I realize it is a feature of any genesis-type atomizers (I've used a few), but I found it much more pronounced on the AGA-T v.2. Then again, I don't know what their QC is, so it might have to do with the specific device I received.

The airhole on the AGA-T+ is very inconsistent. It appears at different heights on the cap and different diameters. It's all over the place.

I got two a few weeks back from the manufacturer. One has about the tightest draw of any RBA I own (very much like my Cobra), and the other is almost as airy as my ZAP.

Sounds like you just happened to get an airy one. PM me if you'd like a tighter one. I like 'em airy and I suck with a drill. :)

you can try to regulate the air hole with your thumb to see if that is in fact the issue

I'm having an issue I think similar to yours except it's more than condensation I have a puddle of juice inside the top. I was thinking it was the wick but when I replaced the wick getting the same issue. Could it be because I set it on it's side? My others agas don't seem to be doing this. Just one and it's brand new.

I just got my first aga-t2/+ (first rba) and compared to my vivi nova minis the draw is super airy! Way too much for my liking. I’m also getting a lot of condensation and small puddles of juice on the top (plus 1/8 the flavor compared to the mini’s). I think the air hole is too big and too high up…???

I think so. Just got my AGA-T2 wick and coil working right and super airy. It's worse than the Kanger Protank. I haven't measured the hole but I think it's a little big. It is also located on the very top groove which puts it at about level or a tad higher than the top of the wick.

The vapor felt bubbly, not warm and rich like an RBA should. I guess I'll have to plug the hole and drill a small lower one. I did carb the hole. Thing hits better than my drip atty.

Anyways besides the air issue it works well at 1.8 ohms/400 mesh/30g. Wicks like nothing I have seen before.

I’m getting used to the draw – I'm getting good vapor, good nic, good wicking but still really poor flavor (and like you said, not rich or ‘full bodied’ like my clearo’s). I’m thinking about ditching the ss mesh, trying some cotton wick, enlarging the wick hole - etc. I'd also like to move the air hole down but that just seems like too much work (not sure how to plug up the original one).

I think the hole-size is smaller than most rba’s and most here (ecf) end up drilling it out larger – go figure.

You can cut the head off a pin leaving a very short lenght of shaft. Glue it in place in the air hole. Use an appropriate glue.

I have been doing the same with mine. I just suck straight to my lungs and skip pulling a mouthFull.

I felt like mine was a bit airy compared to novas as well but I've just learned to take a much slower pull or, my favorite, pull a cloud straight to my lungs which hits like a freight train.
