I finally got my AGA-T2+ working well tonight. I actually took a break from it last week and decided to focus on my IGO-L instead. I managed to get a hybrid wick up and running and have had the best vapes of my life (I just ordered a second). With some confidence and experience under my belt I revisited my AGA-T2+ and got it working with my existing coil and wick by successfully reducing the hot spots. I'm definitely getting better working with the
coils.
One thing that I think has helped a bunch with my AGA-T2+ is that I got some washers that I can hold in place around the wire while I really fasten the top nut (the washers replace the middle nut) that reduce the length of the top lead. This seems to help eliminate the hot top leg and problems I was having pulling the wick towards the center post when tightening the top nut and having the top nut loosen over time.
I have more
rba supplies in the mail and I'm thinking about getting another AGA-T2 (I have three extra glass
tanks and a few parts bags) and I'm window shopping for other good RBAs and I want to play around a bit more.
