Against Forum Rules

This thread made it clear that junk news can be posted, but strip the links.

And I did all that.

Of cos, end of the day the thread is not deleted, but it is definitely closed.

So which forum rule have I contravened, and which rule is governing which forum, and which ones are universally applied? It's contradictory.

The topic was already posted in the same forum prior to you posting. Your topic was closed with a link to the first thread on the same topic.

Now that's a better reasoning than Against Forum Rules aint it? And further it's not even the same article. All Vape topics are essentially the same topic, right?

Now I am not questioning the rules, It's to help people like us understand how decisions to delete threads are made.

Regardless of whether it's the same article or not, it's still the same topic. Taking a little time to see if the topic is already being discussed is always a good thing.

So this is the only rule that applies to Media and General News, and not the other sections, right?
